Would Nazi's in today's world be called German Extremists in order not to offend Nazi's or German's?

Doesn't really matter what they'd be called. They'd be just as evil. And we would regard them as such.

Why would you say no? This president won't call Islamic terrorists, Islamic Terrorists like all democrats. The president says it would antagonize them would we be worried today about antagonizing Nazi's?

Is this about PC terms or supposed antagonizing? And if so, antagonizing Nazis, or IS? Both?

    Gah.

Isis named themselves the Islamic state but they do not represent all Islamic people (in fact they only represent a small fraction). It's easy to differentiate the group name , either Isis, isil or daesh, from the overall religion. It's not about being politically correct, it's about being considerate to the good people who follow Islam and trying to divert future attacks on people who don't deserve it.

Nazis are proud to be Nazis. Islamic militants are proud to be Islamic militants. Now if you just start calling regular innocent Germans Nazis, or any random peaceful Muslims Islamic militants, then we've got a problem. Get the difference?

Did the Nazis have American conservatives helping to undermine the sitting American President?

If political correctness is an overly extreme form of politeness or misplaced civility, what would you call it's opposite? :pensive:

I can't get over the GOP and its disciples losing their shit over the "Obama won't call them Islamic Terrorists" crap.

Was the guy that shot up the Planned Parenthood a "Christian Terrorist"?

Isn't the answer as to why Obama (or anyone with half of a functioning brain) won't refer to them that way completely obvious?

Obama knows that the term "Islamic Terrorist" or "Islamic Extremist" is used primarily to manipulate people. The media uses it to create fear, and therefore readers, clicks on pages, etc. Do you ever wonder why the term "Christian extremist" is very rarely used? It's because the reader would discount it as a misrepresentation because Americans are very familiar with Christianity. Since we're not so familiar with Islam, that is what is focused on in order to perpetuate fear.

I find that most people that complain about political correctness are just ignorant and not much fun to be around.

Political Correctness was a good idea that has been co-opted by too many and used as a weapon. When a candidate for the Democratic nomination has to apologize for saying "Black lives matter. White lives matter. All lives matter." there is a problem.

Yeah, I miss a time when I could be open with my bigotry, racism, homophobia and xenophobia. Now I just have to hold it deep inside and feel guilty about it.

But maybe one day, a hero will come along......a hero named Trump......he will develop a climate of fear where I can be open and proud of my bigotry, racism, homophobia and xenophobia. Like the good old days. I can shout my hate from the rooftops, because I'm saying what everyone is thinking.

One day we will make this country great again and the majority will rise up and squash the minorities. We better do it fast too.....because we are quickly becoming the minority, and that scares me.

Teabaggers, you can be un PC and be a rational human being who respects the constitution, unlike Trump, at the same time!

I find it hilarious that the same group of people are preaching about how being un PC is wrong when they:

hate the sight of gays kissing
    get offended at "baby killing"
reject un PC movies with sex, violence and language over faith based shlock
get offended when someone calls Carson or Cain "Uncle"
get offended when a minority says "cracker"

You can't have it both ways. Take it if you're gonna dish it out.

On top of that, they have no problem with Cliven Bundy being a criminal because white and republican.

And those who have a problem with what I said about white and republican, what was it you were saying about how people need to stop being politically correct? You're just proving my earlier point about double standard hypocrisy.
