I hope they play close to home next year.
Puscifer next month for us and WE CANNOT WAIT.
Of course, welcoming new music from Tool but get it's gotta stew, evolve. The ingredients need to be grown, married. So I give not even a half-shit if it's just all of their prior music. It's always been cathartic and beautiful - visually, aurally, emotionally.
Please pay another visit to this hopeless fucking hole we call LA.
Dunno, rust...guess you caught them on off nights?
Night 2 of Tool @ Red Rocks I luccked out and pulled a single in row 2 right in front of Justin. I caught one of his giant ass bass picks and after the show got the setlist from Danny's drum kit. Great 2 nights! Got the two posters framed together and the first night poster was the limited signed by all 4 band members.
Man! I'm excited for some TOOL!
9 years isn't long enough to stew, evolve, grow, married?
I will never complain for waiting too long on a new album. You cannot rush art. Fortunately I'm a big enough fan of bands that I can enjoy ALL their catalog.
I think Frank gets it
Pearl Jam are free to tour whenever they feel like it. They're still my favourite band, but I've never been in a position to go hog-wild seeing them more than once or twice per tour. I don't mind the long gaps between possible live shows. It gives me time to save money. The only thing I mind is when they're in my town and I can't go! (See Toronto 1 and 2 2011!)

I could not take Puscifer seriously when I first heard them but just picked up Conditions of my Parole on vinyl and enjoyed it.
TOOL SHOWS!
Those faint glimpses of TOOL SHOWS that I recently perceived in the scrying mirror can now be considered official. Indeed, something wicked your way comes…THE UNPARALLELED SONIC AND VISUAL EXPERIENCE OF TOOL LIVE.
