You going to start wearing Hello Kitty sneakers soon? Ha.

First off, 12 year olds don't wear hello kitty and second of all, I've seen many people at PJ shows who I assume are the ones posting and most of them still dress like it's still 1990. Half the people on here probably wish they were made of flannel and plaid. Again, I'll take a kid's opinion on what's fashionable in 2015.

Couldn't you just have your own opinion? I don't give a flying fart what is fashionable in 2015 and if I did, I definitely would not seek the advice of a 12 year old. BTW, flannel is very comfy, though I prefer Pendleton wool plaid shirts.
1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th
    1992- Lollapalooza, Irvine, California
    Nothing since then. I suck.
2016- Fenway Park, Boston - Both glorious nights
    2022- Oakland Night 2

No need to come here and trash what people look like.
Some people like the bags, some don't. What kids think about it is neither here nor there.
I personally wouldn't take fashion advice from a 12 year old (that is a bit surprising btw - never heard of an adult taking fashion advice from someone in elementary school before, lol). I wouldn't take it from a 40 year old either. Fashion is a personal thing.

I would agree. I like them, except the PJ lettering should have been stitched instead. The messenger bag is smaller than I thought it would be (not the right place for "that's what she said"). The backpack is well made and doesn't look as cheap/ugly as the picture. Going to kick myself in the ass if these go on sale next Friday and are still available...

Got mine today. Love smaller computer bag. Yes stiching of pj name would be nice. I hate to confess, larger bag ugly as sin, but I haven't found a backpack as comfortable to wear before as this. Smaller than I thought it would be but feels sturdy.

    Sooo...

When does the 10C start a bitching thread titled: 'Please 10C community... buy these extra backpacks we have seeing as you demanded them'?

Everybody pisses and moans when they release limited edition stuff that they can't get their hands on- crying that they should have produced more. But here's one example how they simply cannot win: don't produce enough... listen to people moan... produce too much... put the extras up on your shelves and prepare for the next mystery item sale.

Cue the 'this is why everything needs to be a presale' comments.

They have only been in the shop for 9 days. Seems a little soon to be declaring it a failure, no? Just because something doesn't sell out in a day, it doesn't mean it shouldn't be there. That these things are still in the shop after more than a week is perfectly okay. If they are still there a year from now, then your point will have some merit.
The backpack frenzy was nearly insufferable.

They've offered something comparable- the quality is awesome... the aesthetics debatable- and they will likely be stuck with leftover merchandise.

I've tried to make this point before with other stale items- I just thought I'd try again with a fresher and more relevant item. Why? I dunno. Just never one to back off easily I guess.
I bought one of the pj 20 backpacks, and I was surprised at the frenzy afterward. I had been thinking about getting a new backpack for awhile, and then I logged into the site and kind of nonchalantly saw the backpacks and thought, 'hey, I'd like a new pack, and these are cool' so I bought one. Then later everyone's going ape shit and they're flipping for $500. I guess there was about a 30 minute window that I got into by chance.

So was I, that's the funny part. I just thought it was funny my kid liked it and didn't know I could "insult" people my saying they look like they dress like they are stuck in the 90's. This is coming from someone whose wardrobe is mostly PJ shirts.

Same thing happened for me. I had not been at the site for weeks, happened to see the PJ20 pack and bought it because I needed a new one. Found out about the frenzy months later. It is a great bag; functional, looks good, and is built well.

The packs are amazing build and quality, but design is lazy as fuck.

Love them nonetheless. Patagonia gear is just awesome.

Ouch, with the exchange rate issue and getting hit by customs for $30 just now in Alberta...... i don't want to share what the total was......but i have made the decision to retire a year later. Love the bag though. Never paid customs when ordering from the Ten Club. But......I've spent money in more foolish ways. I spend my money on booze, women and Pearl Jam......the rest I spend foolishly!
