I asked a few days ago, but need to clarify. What time do you recommend leaving hotel at the beach in FLL to head to BB&T for Friday night? I have to pick up tickets from Ten Club will call.

If you want to miss traffic, I would leave at 4pm. You will get to the arena around 5pm. If you leave around 5pm I would factor in another half hour or so for crazy south Florida traffic.

Thank you! As far as waiting for the concert, are there places to hang out within walking distance? Or do you just go in early? Sorry, coming in from out of state and never been to one of their concerts.

Which show(s)? This thread is technically about all four FL shows.

This is probably buried in this thread but if someone wants to give me advice on where to park for Ft. L & Miami I would appreciate it! My flight is supposed to arrive in Ft.L at 6:20 so hopefully I can make it to the venue in time, but advice on where to park might help make that a little easier. I also thought I read there isn't much parking near the Miami venue, so advice there would be good too! Thanks for any help!

Are you staying in FLL for both nights? I'm changing hotels to Miami Beach on Sat and taking Uber to the arena on that day. AA Arena is close to everything. BB&T is pretty far west, right on the edge of the Everglades.

I am staying in Sunrise Friday night and then somewhere in Miami Saturday. It is my wife's sisters house, and I dont know the address yet. I thought I just read someone say parking is a problem at AA.

Staying 3 days at Hollywood Beach... a block from the sand. We picked that area because it seems about half way between first two venues and easy access to head out to Tampa. (and relativily inexpensive compared to other areas)

There is tons of parking at BB&T... It will probably be $20. In Miami the arena itself doesnt have much parking but there are A LOT of private lots around the venue. Again the cost will probably be around $20-$25, but the earlier you get there the cheaper it cost. Also, if you are early to Miami, you might be able to get street side parking which is cheaper. =)

And are there any other beaches besides south beach that the locals recommend (clean, nice showers, etc)

I always prefer Key Biscayne... Go to Virginia Key or Crandon Park. They are typically less crowded, and way more laid back... South Beach is fun though for the bars and the topless people. It all depends on what you want. =)
Don't forget about Haulover Beach!!

I was just there for a race... The first time, I've ever been... It made the race very interesting! =) hehehe

I have NEVER paid to park at Sunrise. Unless you have walking issues, just park at the mall: http://www.simon.com/mall/sawgrass-mills

My mind is whirling with EXCITEMENT!!!!! can't stop thinking about it!

by the way does anybody here happen to know, yet about what particular section 10club reserved seating will be for the Ft. Lauderdale venue?
I just want to have some kind of an idea.
Thanks, for any response in advance!

Reserves is pretty much the same in most places.. First two sides sections next to stage and some venues also have 10C reserved directly behind the GA

Right across Panther Parkway from the arena at the mall is the Regal 23 & IMAX cinemas. People are there late.

The mall has plenty of parking and WANTS you to park there--hoping that you'll spend some money. The venue doesn't want you to park there, so they get their parking fee.

Here's how goofy this battle got 10 years ago:
    http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/2006-03-15/news/0603140774_1_parking-lot-holder-fee

Edit: Saw these from 2011--anyone know for certain if this is still in place? I called and the person I spoke to was a little unsure, but said she thought this was discontinued.

You can still park at the mall for free. And since thousands of cars will be doing it (no exaggeration), you don't have to worry about being towed.

    Hi all,

Don't know if this has been covered yet, but the official email suggests the 10C will call lines will be loooong close to show time, so they recommend picking up early, and then coming back, I guess. How long do you think it will take to get through the line close to 7 pm?

    Thanks!!
