Not around me. Lines were insane at advanced voting! Like 2+ hour lineups in a lot of ridings!

I sincerely hope that anyone that didn’t vote in the advance polls gets the opportunity to vote today.

So will the narrative be written that Trump managed to steal a sure victory from the conservatives and hand it to the liberals based on his big mouth?  Even today he continues to tweet on the 51st state nonsense.

I honestly think it could go either way tonight. Not sure who the silent majority is yet.

Younger people may want change, but don't tend to come out in great numbers as the older people do who may lean Liberal.
So it could be anything from a Lib majority to a Con minority.  That would be interesting after shitting on everyone for the last several years who do you think will want to work with you.
Maybe people just don't care for Poilievre's style.  People must have really hated JT, and now a 20 point lead blown. I think experience is a factor in people's decisions.

On a side note, the BQ can eff off with their rhetoric,  I hope they lose seats.

    Again,  it will be interesting.

Get out and vote if you have not already

Wow, that sucks. I voted on a Sunday afternoon, in and out in less than 5 mins. There was a lineup on the Friday morning, so I waited.

Didn’t set a stopwatch but I wasn’t in the building ten minutes. Took longer to get there and back again, lol.

I voted on Easter Monday in the morning.  It was really short.  like in and out in less than 10 minutes. Maybe 5 minutes?   My neighbors voted on day 1 and said it was pretty long.   It's generally good to not do things at the beginning or the end of a thing :)

Not sure how I feel.  Looks like they can get votes to pass stuff with an NDP coalition, but that's exactly what I didn't want.  I wanted the party to pivot a little to right.

I suspect this minority government won't last as long as the last one.

I heard 79% voter turnout in Carleton. Probably the highest in the country. Accessibility wasn't an issue.

    They just wanted PP gone.

The only reason we're not looking at a Conservative majority this morning is because PP himself is deeply unpopular. If almost anyone else was running they would have won probably by a landslide.
