seems you don't understand what being held accountable means. it doesn't always mean losing your job. it can also mean learning from your mistakes, apologizing, and correcting that behaviour.

I tend to agree.  Plus we as voters have the ultimately say in keeping someone accountable, as we have the power to fire them.

Well sort of.  That really only works if the other options aren't as bad.. lol.  If you were apply for a higher up executive job there's probably quite the vetting process, and a bunch of candidates.   Government, a few people run, and it's more of a popularity contest :(

I'm sure there's a pretty extensive vetting process for leader of a national party as well (as we've seen, it obviously doesn't uncover everything though). I still prefer our process over the US. I can't imagine how much I'd hate the 2-3 year cycle of primaries and then the election. 6 weeks is enough for me. lol

O'Toole (and you) are crushing the Liberals over spending.  During/after the pandemic it has been just simply understood that government spending was going up.  

O'Toole pledges to balance the budget and get spending under control right? And you seem to be a fan of that. 

My question is:  How?   What is he going to cut and where?  What is Trudeau specifically spending money on that is not required and not wanted by the Canadian people? 

Not trying to sound like a smart ass because maybe O'Toole or yourself do have an idea or a plan on how to do that. If you know, I would love to also be aware of that. Honest question.
