Is it an illness that is causing me to refresh the site every 10 seconds as the clock approaches 1pm Eastern? Like if something was announced and I found out ten minutes later would something bad happen? Haha. I don't understand my need to obsess over these shows that won't happen until next spring. Only Pearl Jam does this to me.
Just got this PM. Was gonna post it here but you beat me.

Pearl Jam at Videotron Centre in May ?
Pearl Jam is one of the next groups to confirm his coming to Videotron Centre, in May 2016 , according to information circulating on the Internet for several days.
Rumors point to a concert in Quebec City on May 8 , which would be followed by visits to Ottawa and Montreal on 10 11. The tour of twenty dates should take off April 8 in Fort Lauderdale, for to conclude in mid-May in Toronto.
The Journal has been possible to confirm that Quebecor has actually talks with Pearl Jam and the chances are good that these discussions are successful future. The 8th could change but the concert would take place during the month of May
High demand in Quebec , Pearl Jam gave his last concert in the capital, 20 September 2005 .
This would be great. I want to do a QC show but I would be in the doghouse for going to one on Mother's Day. I've already tested the waters for leaving at noon, and tea leaves did not read well.
I finish finals may 11. If dates are true, I am without a doubt hitting up montreal and toronto shows... dont care what I have to pay on stubhub.

Just wasn't meant to be this time I suppose. Ah well.

To all: book a nice, expensive and impressive brunch in a five-star hotel on Sunday morning for Mother's Day, then drive up North to Qc City. No more than a seven-hour drive from anyone NYC and up, so finish up your brunch by 1pm and you're good to go. Of course, you announce the brunch first, then bring the PJ show a few days after.

Absolutely. That's why I'm bummed I'll be missing Toronto
I would love to do both toronto shows and stay up there for the weekend... not in the cards for 2016 though
I have something to do that sat night. I was 100% planning on being there when the rumored list first dropped, but now it's impossible. Oh well, I'm still planning on 6 shows.

... lol....
I still find it hard to believe they would play another show in Ottawa after the last one... so many empty seats, so little energy in the crowd outside of the 10C area...
*sigh*... guess I'm just jealous that a city 3 times the size doesn't get a show... again...
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.
Im on the december announcement train... anything before then, and I will be happily surprised

Kids? I have twin boys age 7. Hence the reference to a five-star hotel and nothing less.

The 2011 show in Ottawa did seem low energy for me as well, though I was above the wing seats in the 300 level, so no one there (for any show) tends to get excited. I didn't make many friends since we were first row and I'm 6'3". Though I think the setlist was actually really good.

I don't understand how Mother's Day should be getting in the way of a Pearl Jam show if you're a mother. Isn't it your day (and your mother's day, if applicable)? Spend the morning with the kids and your own mother, and then do what makes you happy later in the day - go to a PJ show.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata
Mother's Day is a "Hallmark Holiday" that, although VERY important as time to express how much your own mother and/or mother-of-your-children mean to you, can be celebrated on the day before.
The same goes for Father's Day and Valentine's Day.
