2016 PJ25 Tour Rumors

Not sure why I feel differently about this tour than other tours, but this time around for whatever reason I never wake up thinking today is the day. Tours past I have constantly checked for news, been on edge, etc. Not this time. I think we have a few weeks to go. Just feels that way.___________________________________________

There's no way I can even afford to travel over for this tour and I'm still checking this thread: hope it happens the way everyone wants it to!Post edited by Ozzie onIsle of Wight, 23rd June 2012

Exactly. I don't know. I'm assuming. Just my opinion.BeerBaron said:
You are making a massive assumption that you know where they are in the process of booking this tour (if the dates are in fact true). You seem to assume that they are 75% through the process when they may in fact be 99% through. This process could have started back in July or August for all we know (or even earlier)nicknyr15 said:
I disagree. That list seems like it has things to work out which could take time. The whole Barclays vs MSG, Hartford or Albany. 2 dates in NC? Looks like an announcement around November IMO.nycrats said:gotta say, the longer this goes on with no info seems liek that list may be really bogus. i didnt think it was gospel but could just be someone bored piecing it around 2 previously rumored dates.

I mentioned earlier in this thread that there 100% is a tour next year. Again my source is directly tied to one of the band members and it is confirmed. I dont know exact dates and locations and dont want to disrespect my source by asking too many questions. Believe me or not, but keep your memberships current if you are interested in attending one of the shows.0

Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0 -
Unlikely you'll have asked, but any idea whether this tour will hit up Europe (summer/autumn/whenever) too?jmug23 said:I mentioned earlier in this thread that there 100% is a tour next year. I agree 100%SVRDhand13 said:I think the GA system is perfect. Old members, new members and everyone in between have an equal shot ate winning the GA lotto. Then if you actually win and want to be up close, you show up early. If you're cool hanging in the back of GA, you show up later. Reserved seats are then given out based on seniority so you are rewarded for being a fan for a long time but it no longer guarantees you a spot up front, thus preventing many others who never had the chance to be close to the stage.
I think the 10C got it right and I hope it doesn't change. A lotto for rows 1-2 and 9-10 didn't feel like enough to me.0 -
I'm not a big fan of the lottery, but I don't know how else they could do it and still be fair to everyone. There's too many fans and not enough fan club tickets.1996: Randall's Island 2 1998: East Rutherford | MSG 1 & 2 2000: Cincinnati | Columbus | Jones Beach 1, 2, & 3 | Boston 1 | Camden 1 & 2 2003: Philadelphia | Uniondale | MSG 1 & 2 | Holmdel 2005: Atlantic City 1 2006: Camden 1 | East Rutherford 1 & 2 2008: Camden 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 (#25) | Newark (EV) 2009: Philadelphia 1, 2 & 4 2010: Newark | MSG 1 & 2 2011: Toronto 1 2013: Wrigley Field | Brooklyn 2 | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2015: Central Park 2016: Philadelphia 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 | Fenway Park 2 | MSG (TOTD) 2017: Brooklyn (RnR HOF) 2020: MSG | Asbury Park 2021: Asbury Park 2022: MSG | Camden | Nashville 2024: MSG 1 & 2 (#50) | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2025: Raleigh0

I didnt ask about Europe, but I will be hanging out with him next Saturday, so I will see what new info I can get. All I was told was U.S tour so far. I did actually apply to be Boom's hair stylist, but I was turned down due to the fact I am color blind. Tough break:)Post edited by jmug23 on0

Somebody on facebook also posted that they are friends with a roadie and they were asked to go out on tour this Spring with PJ. I think, like many other have said, the tour is 100% happening. Just have to be patient for dates and cities.jmug23 said:I didnt ask about Europe, but I will be hanging out with him next Saturday, so I will see what new info I can get. It seems like the last announcement was about 5 months before the first US show (Cincinnati) based on my recollection from reading these posts. If so, and the 2016 tour begins in April, November seems like a good time to look for an announcement, right? It seems like the rumors are related to leaks where the band is "holding" venue dates, and that all makes sense.
So announcement in October for sale in November, or maybe another month out. What do you think?
