    What a beautiful place !!

With all these rumors, I could sure borrow some money

New York, Philly, Florida, Alpine, now the Gorge..., Maybe Canada... it's sure gonna be expensive..... oh, and Red Rock too
This place was soooo much nicer before they put up the black curtain behind the stage.

Does that mean PJ25 won't be happening entirely or won't be happening at the Gorge? ISTM that they won't be playing the Gorge and they probably won't have a mega-festival.

I'd love lots of US dates though...Canada can come along for the ride...they need some too. European summer festivals, of course... maybe east coast/northeast USA in the spring, Europe in June, July, August (2 of the 3), and then west coast USA in the fall? I could easily see a Toronto and Vancouver date sprinkled in there as well.

I'm so stuck on my Randalls Island idea...2 or 3 nights in a venue where they can sell a shit load of tickets. People can go early and get up front if they so desire or they can relax on the lawn. It would satisfy the demand in this area with no bitching about getting shut out of a ticket or where your 10 club seats where. So fucking simple it's ridiculous! The renovation really make it a great place.
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

I like that idea! Does the renovated stadium host concerts?

touring is much more planning to set-up than in the past - they have to figure out where to put pop-up shops and where to hide the bags of money.

I understand why they play a festival or two, but I would never travel more than 2 hours or so to see a festival show again after seeing 2 already. Not worth the all day wait outside with the crowds for a shortened greatest hits setlist.

That was the neat thing about Global Citizen. One expected the short set but the flip side of the coin was the pleasure of enjoying NYC. I'll likely never do that type of setting again so I was nice to do so knowing it's a one-off an appreciating it for what it was.
