For those saying PJ hasn't had a strong presence in MN in the past so this is unlikely....I'd counter by pointing back to the 2014 St Paul show where they brought the Dr from University of Minnesota on stage (who is on the forefront of EB research). It seems that Heal EB is true and dear to EV, and they seemed to have a great time at the hospital, so my guess is that they might be interested in paying the state another visit.

From a personal standpoint, 2014 was my first time in the state, and my wife and I had a blast! Everyone was so nice, and the walkways around the river were awesome! Renting bikes and riding around in sunny weather was not something we planned on doing in late October in MN...I can only imagine how gorgeous it is in the summer!

Hmm so this is just like the chicago rumors with wrigley and soldier field. So they probably have holds at both venues and are trying to decide between the 2. If I were them I'd choose the football stadium. It has a roof and probably better site lines. It seems us bank stadium is pretty positive they have a show booked. Comparing the twins schedule and pj's if they were to play target field in august it would have to be the weekend of the 27th. Sounds like the Rock concert at us bank will likely be the weekend of the 13th.

With all due respect to the great people of Minnesota and the Twins (I'll always love Puckett), wouldn't playing another baseball stadium somewhat diminish the awesomeness of playing two of the most-storied baseball parks ever to be built?

Lol, I just watched that with my niece. I work with someone who is exactly like "sadness"...just a complete idiot, like if you told her she won the lottery, she'd complain about having to spend it.

....Every time they got close to the ledge I was thinking to myself "kick sadness off that f***er and get on with it!"

Based on GNR ticket prices I don't think I could afford to go. Plus, I've seen Slash twice with Myles Kennedy singing and that was far better than any show with 2016 Axl.
Myles Kennedy with Slash is awesome and you don't have to wait till midnight for them to play.

Had they not booked two nights at Wrigley this year, they could've easily sold out Soldier Field this year in Chicago.

I used to think that there would only be the shows that are announced and then they would add shows for later in the year.

Now if I were pressed, I'd say they'll add some shows in between open dates and then add shows in the fall.

Shaping up to be a weird cool year.

I always took their statement in the first tour announcement that "pearl jam will play a series of dates from April to August" literal. I took that to mean more dates coming during that time frame but nothing before or after. In the fall Ed will be following the cubs around. Not on tour. I'm not expecting anything after August.
