Hillary was a terrible candidate and was especially the wrong candidate for these times. Bernie would have been a more effective candidate for "change" just for being different but he almost certainly would have lost as well. The big picture being missed on here is that hope and change was a failure and no democratic candidate would have been willing and/or able to say it.
