    Touche, gimme.

PJfan, was that really necessary? Guess a silly question.

It really is a beautiful photograph.
  • Yes, the colors are amazing.
    So vivid.

If that's all you take from such an image, then you're either unable to see or willfully blind.

    Pffft.
  • Hedo
The contrast in the picture displays colours so vividly I don't see how you could not see it otherwise.
Unless of course you are neutral.

Yes! If Kim Davis could get past her self-serving view of the world, she could learn a valuable lesson from these men.

Two evil creeps man i still can't believe there are 3 men out there who f!@#$% this wind bag ...

I just for the fun of it reread everything you guy's have posted, you guy's say the most vile things in the name of your idea of love and then you use her apperance/looks to discredit her as well ...you guy's are a class act, tell me with as much honesty as you can dig up...what makes you all so much better than her and don't sink to the grammer school reply "she's a bigot" I mean really why are you guy's so rightous in mind and caring hart ? cause to be honest all I see are hateful remarks from people that "say" they stand up for people who love each other, believe me I'm laughing my ass at you guy's.

    Godfather.

i actually kind of agree with on this. making fun of her looks is jr. high type behavior. we should be above that.

that being said - still to be answered - how would you feel if she denied you a right to buy a gun based on her religion? would it be ok?
It's a funny picture. I don't think any of us are above that. Sounds rather snobby.
Yeah, really. I mean puh-lease. Look at what this woman is doing and what she's like. Look at her outside of that jail with that fucking song playing. She is an embarrassment to Americans, to religious people, to women, to country clerks, and to human beings in general. And people are going to get their knickers in a knot because we're making fun of the fact that she looks like a stylistically challenged and infinitely stupid Nurse Ratchet?? Gimme a break, lol.
Damn. Even when told directly to ease up on hating on her looks specifically, you hate spewing bunch can't even do it. Find something to do, smoke a joint. You guys know i believe some shit way worse than you do, but for real you guys spew hate all day long. Yet you criticize us. It's hypocritical to say the least.

She's a good woman! Jesus would be ashamed
Jesus is ashamed of her, and you, and her followers. I know because he told me as we were having a beer at the bar last night. He's embarrassed that the crazies use him as a reason to be bigots and not have a mind of their own. Calling some broad an ugly woman because the dog looks like dick Cheney isn't spewing hate. Supporting said dog when she refuses to issue marriage licenses because she and all of her followers are bigots is spewing hate.
    STILL can't do it.

This is gawddamn hilarious. I won't touch the obvious hypocrisy of your words.

But I need to say that nobody would care that this idiot looks like a bastard rat; however, she's such an ignorant fool that it's impossible not to make reference of it after her toxic attitude and stupidity have been definitively exposed and exhausted.

Some people, through their actions, become beautiful. Some people, through their actions, become ugly.
    And still can't do it.

Why must you sink to the personal level? Why not just criticize her actions instead of her looks. Otherwise post a picture of your glorious face for us all to rip to shreds in the name of "love" and "good people"

    I'm not following you here.

If I posted a picture of myself, why would anyone wish to shred me? What would I have done to open myself up to such scathing remarks?

Now... on the other hand... if I did something brutal... I could fully understand.

And here is where I see how you have a problem with some people's comments: you don't think she has done anything brutal. You have called her a 'good person' and have rationalized her hatred.

I wonder if when one rationalizes hatred, s/he condones it.

  • These fuckin christians gets so pissed off when they are called a bigot. My stupid fucking sister in law called my wife crying the other day after I responded one of her ignorant pro davis memes with "davis and her followers are bigots." She lives in KY near this county. She replied with "do you think I'm a bigot scott?" She actually thought that just because I'm her brother in law I wouldn't say, "do you think gay couples do not deserve the same rights you are afforded? If so, yes, you're a bigot."

I don't care what your god says. Nobody knows what Jesus said. If you think gays don't deserve the same rights you get, then you are a bigot.

I had this same discussion with my brother, his wife, and their teenage son. my brother cried foul that just because of his beliefs, he gets demonized. he actually is saying that christianity is constantly on the defensive, always being attacked, and if he defends himself, he is called names and given labels.

    if the shoe fits.......

I told them all to their face, in their home, that I consider anti-homosexual sentiment to be that of a bigoted mind. luckily, he is mature enough of an individual to not let it be the end of our relationship. I'm sure he prays for my hell-bound soul often.

disagree. with any human rights issue, someone, especially a federal employee, refusing someone those rights, needs to be outed and shamed. she feels vindicated right now with that disgusting speech and crying and all that televangelist garbage she was doing, but she will, as brian mentioned, eventually be forgotten.

like all the assholes back in the day trying to prevent africans from using the same waterfountains and washrooms and sit at the front of the bus. all forgotten. all shamed. all a complete disgrace.

but not before late night tv rips her to shreds. things like this make me really miss Letterman and especially Stewart.

Good thing we still have, love or hate him, Maher and John Oliver.

Celeb tweets and Facebook pages are good as well. As an MST3K fan, I recommend "TV's" Frank Conniff.

I don't like Maher either. And he talks about religion WAY too much. I get it, dude, you don't like it. You made a movie about it. So shut up.

John Oliver is fantastic. And I'm also a fan of Frank Conniff, he's on FB and Twitter. He posts some really really funny stuff.

Just a correction. She is a local official. County level. Under the law she does have standing. Both within State and Fedral statute.

The Ky legislature seemingly failed in this instance to amend the law requiring clerk name on a document such as that one. SHE did push this though when the compromise was first offered last week and she refused. I am certain her Attorneys suggested she go for a few days. Pushing a larger agenda.

While I agree the attitude or belief isnt right , this country affords any belief you wish. So be it.

This really should have been handled in State court to begin with.

I intend on searching the timeline of events and who did what when. This law firm "Liberty Counsel" is headed by a former professor or dean of the Liberty University Law School. Mark my words there will be more like this to come. Seeking to re-litigate marriagr equality(wont work) to see just how far they can go in pushing for an expansion of the exempted.

Agree with the calling out. Not so much with the shaming. Serves no purpose. Not a good one anyway.

I think she should be ashamed of her actions vs her beliefs. Her right to believe whatever the hell she - anyone - wants to (or not) ends where someone else's rights are denied, among other scenarios.

Her weird Christ-y pose and Eye of the Tiger thing irritates me too.

Good point about the State, by the way. Should be interesting to see what more is to come of this brouhaha.

Should be interesting to see what more is to come of this brouhaha.
when will any of these fucknut politicians or whoever else seek permission to use songs at things like this?

as for the first part, heres to hoping that other legislatures take the cue to take the necessary steps to make sure this doesnt happen elsewhere. I know, I know. But keep hope alive!!!!
