  • this would be like me being a paramedic and refusing to do cpr because it is god's will that the person stopped breathing.

jesus said nothing about cpr, or anything related to lifesaving medicine, therefore it is not for me to act.

that would make me a pretty much worthless paramedic. they do a lot of cpr.

The difference would be, If you didn't do cpr, EVER, and were forced not to by the guidelines of your job, then one day it became legal. Would you continue to preform your job the way you see best fit? Or change it overnight
  • and no, this is nothing like jesus' situation.

until this woman is up on a cross and wakes up and walks away on the third day, this is absolutely nothing like jesus.

JESUS DID NOT EVEN SPEAK ABOUT THIS ISSUE!!!

If you don't respond to my questions I will have to consider you a hypocrite for criticising us for failing to debate your points.

I said this. Go read my posts. Her denying licenses is a good thing. She's doing gods work. Her being divorced previously has not one once of anything to do with this. Divorce is mentioned and accepted in the bible. Two people of the same gender being married didn't start until the 1740s. Read my other posts to see my feelings.

Keep pushing and trying to insinuate I am a hypocrite but honestly I already answered your questions. You just want to bully me like everyone else.
Bullying AGAIN? I can't tell if a persecution complex fits in somewhere in all of this.

The problem is not with what she believes but in how she is forcing others to abide by her beliefs, in denying legal licenses.

Anyone wants to see her as a martyr or pious, go for it. I find her (in)actions repugnant.

Jesus said divorce was adultery, and she had children to a man with whom she was not married.

This woman's lawyer is a bigger douche bag than she is. He just compared this woman to Martin Luther King Jr. What a fucktard.

This is a joke, right? One article I read states, "Davis' lawyer, Roger Gannam, said it was the first time in history an American citizen has been jailed for believing that marriage is a union between one man and one woman. He compared her willingness to accept imprisonment to what Martin Luther King Jr. did to advance civil rights."

    The nerve! The irony!
Seems pretty comparable, if not more important than mlk imo. This is groundbreaking. She's a martyr in the current times.
You think a bigot who lays her bigotry on God and who refuses to support equality for everyone, and who is pushing for continuing inequality under government and law, is comparable to, and maybe more important than, Martin Luther King, Jr??
    What the fuck??????
You call her a bigot, I call her a hero. She's doing Gods work, at least someone has the nerve to offend this overly pc society by sticking to what has been the law for ages. It changes overnight under Obama (which goes back to the fact that I believe he is gay and Michelle is a man) and suddenly everyone has to comply? These laws were in place for a reason, as its a SIN for two people of the same race to be married. The bible says it, not me.

And you're being borderline offensive with the what the fuck????? No need for that. It's another shot at me that doesn't need to be taken. I don't scream wtf when you say things I clearly disagree with.

Since you are all about debating posts, as you have admonished us for failing to do, I wonder why you haven't responded to the rebuttals to your "Michelle is a man" theory?

    Also, please answer this question:
    Do you support Sharia law?
Shouldn't Muslims be allowed to use their deeply held religious convictions to deny women drivers licenses at the BMV?
No idea what you're referring to, sorry
How does Michelle have a bulge if she had a sex change operation in the 80's?
What is your response to the photos of Michelle as a child, clearly her, clearly a girl?

Again, you claim to be about debating posts and not sinking to our level, so pony up!

Would you support Muslim officials in the government denying drivers licenses to women, marriage licenses to gays, and gun permits to anyone because of their deeply held religious beliefs?

That wasn't said...was it? Not sure if you haven't seen or choose to not reply to my posts in this thread, but it seems like there's much mis-reading happening here.

And so what if Jesus was gay? Or "pansexual"?

I'd like to know about the 1740 timeline as well. Homosexuality came about because of prisons (which didn't exist prior?) and is therefore a choice and therefore reversible?

See, I can make some leaps too!

I find it odd that this county clerk is in jail for not doing her job but Hellary is not ????

    Godfather.

You need to really read your posts before hitting submit , I find if odd that you don't get why she is .....
because she wont issue marriage lic.'s to same sex couples ?I would not do it either, personally I'd just quit rather than do something I'm not comfortable with, is she the only clerk that can issue lic. in that office ?

    Godfather.
She has 6 deputy clerks. 5 are willing to issue. She refused to have her name on the licenses as the clerk of courts. She was given the choice to avoid jail bu allowing the deputy clerks to issue the licenses. She refused that offer. She is free to believe gays shouldn't be allowed to marry. But as a civil servant cannot legally impose that on others in the permance of her lawful duties as clerk. She swore an oath to uphold the US Constitution as well as Kentucky's. She is breaking that oath. Derelict in her duties. She is in jail for refusing to comply with a lawful judicial order.
Wasn't it her job, under the same constitution, to deny said licenses for the last hundred years? Only a few short months ago were the rules changed. She's doing what she feels is right, doing gods work and denying the right to marry legally. She's not against gays because of that, she's against breaking the law she's known and upheld for years. That's why she's a martyr for Christians, is she's willing to put her American freedom on the line, and lose it for her beliefs. They did the same thing to Jesus ya know, murdered and torturered him for sticking to his beliefs in a time when society said you couldn't. Isn't this a similar situation?
Except she isnt a clerk of gods court. She is paid to be clerk of the county in ky. SCOTUS hasnt changed the constitution. Only affirmed it applies to the whole of american citizenry. And The Constitution IS FLUID as it can be amended as often as the collection of states require.

In fact she wasn't elect to perform gods work. She was elected to perform the duty of clerk of courts. Issuing licenses and filing paperwork and accepting monies for fines as demanded by the courts of her county state and country. And swore an oath to do such "so help me god".

She is in defiance of a lawful order under the Constitution by a Federal Judge in the court she sought an injunction in.

    Leviticus 20:13
You said Jesus didn't speak on it because he never thought of it, and homosexual sex wasn't invented until 1740. Leviticus predates Jesus by what, a thousand years?

Nothing I said was anywhere near claiming Jesus to be gay. Roman records from the time period during which Jesus lived are full of accounts of homosexual relations, it was as commonplace then as now, perhaps more so.

Must be fun to keep picking on me. Get a life, and leave me alone. If you want to reply to my post, do so, quit with the insults. It's just sad.
Every single thing you post on these boards is combative and down-putting to others. Don't sit here and cry victim when you're just as guilty.

Where have I went out of my way to insult, not debate? I haven't. Many have piled it on to me here for having different beliefs than theirs. I haven't attacked anyone. I share my opinions. That's what we do. He said "well I'm a bully because your post is asinine" after I said it hurt my feelings to say what he said, he said, well too bad! I'll say it again! And then did so. If you can't see that as bullying then you're just as guilty.

The Romans did this to Jesus as well. It's Sunday, I am in full worship mode, and yet you still attack me, my beliefs, my religion, and sexuality. Clearly bullying and not just discussing. I have my Christian Rock tunes playing, a little temple of the dog thrown in and relaxing. I enjoy sharing opinions here so please ease up. Thanks! Have a great "Son"day!
