Santos - is this a 10C only release or will it be available at record stores?

Hey Santos, any chance of the vinyl coming with a free MP3 download as well?

Bump. I wanna pull the trigger on the vinyl for when I finally get a turntable but I don't want to wait until then to listen to it. MP3 download would be perfect.

I don't see why them saying that proceeds go to the symphony and foundation would have anything to do with it being exclusive to the site. The profits could still go there regardless of where you buy it. Selling them retail as well would mean more money for them so it's be dumb for it not to be sold everywhere. really hoping I'm not wrong cause I'm holding out for now.

It wouldn't necessarily.... i think it's a better safe than sorry scenario playing out. I made no real assumptions either way... but bought it from here just to be sure. ;)

I second this thinking PJ Soul. I don't think this will be a mass release, but a more limited release run. Could be wrong, but I also bought this just in case.

And being that it's up for pre-order elsewhere, don't mean shit. There has been a lot release available for pre-order that have went unfulfilled (Music for Film box, Sevens...).

Why can't Santos just say if this is retail or not. I still don't know what to do.

Couldn't wait till we got an answer...made the vinyl purchase with the wife's blessing. Now back to the house-work list I had to negotiate....

  • Couldn't wait either, besides shipping cost to Mexico in 10c is cheaper than other sites like Amazon or Ebay.

Interesting note on shipping. I hadn't ordered Vault #5 yet as I was waiting for the Canadian dollar to improve (which has completely backfired on me). Shipping for vault #5 alone is 31.99 and it's 15.49 for this vinyl. So that would be a total of 47.48 for shipping. Combining the two orders has a shipping total 42.99 for a combined savings of $4.49 :)

I should probably put my order in. That 4.49 probably covers how much the cdn$ has fallen while I've been waiting for it to rise.

edit: tossing on the live at the moore vinyl only brings shipping up to 48.49 after that. So $5.50 more... hmm.. not too shabby.

I ordered all three at once for this very reason. Was just going to throw the two in, but added the third cause I'm anal about shipping.

I'm still holding off to see if Amazon Canada puts the two mad season records up. I'd save a mint if they do :)

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, but have been burned so many times with them on pre-orders didn't want to risk it.

Would probably save about $60 CAD though.

I hope it works out for us, vs the Amazon.ca route.

Me too :-) Now i'm just hoping they will ship each one at release date and don't wait until the vault 5 release to ship them together.... fingers crossed :-)

In my experience, they ship separately as stuff is released.
