Good luck all on the Mad Splatters and the merch. Our definition of rooting in Aus is different to your meaning of it. ...but I'm rooting for you all

I just got an e-mail from BullMoose. It said my order has been packaged and will ship today. I guess the distribution to ThinkIndie stores has begun!

Got black vinyl in Innisfail, Alberta. Spun it last night, sounds awesome.
Still bitter about not doing the trip to Seattle for the show. Would have been worth it for All Alone. Everything else is gravy

In my collection of records, the best sounding ones are invariably black. Sure, colored records and picture discs are nice to look at but I think I prefer black vinyl for sound quality. Tool's Lateralus picture disc is the worst sounding record I own followed closely by a blue Led. Zep. 1. That said, the Tool album is the nicest looking and it has amazing art.

I think picture discs are their own beast. The tool one is a tank. it's like two records glued together. I think regular colored ones are fine. I've never noticed a big difference between coloured and black vinyl. Pciture discs on the other hand do sound poorly, especially that tool one you mentioned :)

Yeah Picture discs suck. you can't press them like actual records. once you go black you never go back???

Howdy Innisfail, Alberta - drove by your town two days ago. Got a buddy there that I visit a couple times a year. Been thinking of trying to organize a PJ party in Calgary or really anywhere in southern Alberta. Back to the thread, haven't opened mine yet; will do so when I'm back home to check if black, red or yellow.

It would be great to see some of these splatter vinyl copies being scored through various online record stores, outside of the 10club store.

Black vinyl in Calgary....I'm OK with that. Hell, it's one of the best PJ songs! I have to say I am very happy with the artwork of the album. I really like the booklet with pictures from the concert. There's a great pic on the disk 1 sleeve of Matt looking over at Mike playing his guitar. Sounds great, would love to see a Blu-Ray of this one day.

Have spun side A. Yes, the orchestra sounds muddy (so far) - not a great recording. Too bad, because it's a really cool concert. It's still worth listening to, but it could be a lot better.

Mine should arrive on Monday from Bull Moose. Really curious to compare the CD and record for sound quality.
