The Donald for President

I'm voting trump simply to have someone besides a Bush or Clinton as president. 24 out of the last 36 years has been more than enough.0

I absolutely understand that feeling! I am as big of a GW hater as anybody out there, but I honestly think Jeb would be better for our country than that tiny little person that is Donald Trump.JUST A GIRL said:I'm voting trump simply to have someone besides a Bush or Clinton as president. 24 out of the last 36 years has been more than enough.

Trump? Ha. I like his style. He does have problems with people questioning him. Doesn't happen in Trump tower where everyone kisses his ass.Post edited by callen on10-18-2000 Houston, 04-06-2003 Houston, 6-25-2003 Toronto, 10-8-2004 Kissimmee, 9-4-2005 Calgary, 12-3-05 Sao Paulo, 7-2-2006 Denver, 7-22-06 Gorge, 7-23-2006 Gorge, 9-13-2006 Bern, 6-22-2008 DC, 6-24-2008 MSG, 6-25-2008 MSG0 -

as crazy as it sounds that's why people are standing with trump, it seems like the more he attacks someone or something the more popular he becomes.
this is very different election time than any I can remember, we have a avarage guy (kind of avarage) who wants to run for president with seemingly zero political experiance or affilation and talks like your pissed off next door nieghbor who irriatates you but you agree with him on most issues but then on the other hand we have a hand full of runners that come from pollitical royalty already so the avarage joe/betty are gun shy voting for the "here we go again" political royalty and look at the new guy who shoots from the hip and don't care about being politicaly correct...and they love him !
I have stated before trump can win because of this and if I do vote for him part of my choice will be a shot in the dark hopping for the best, I don't vote to support the numbers, my vote is always my personal opinion...voting for the best liar LOL !

I understand not wanting to vote for Bush or Clinton, but I am utterly shocked that anyone sees Trump as a viable alternative. There are other people running who are much more suitable for the job. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0

I'll admit that I like some of his style. I have always felt like a politician could be honest and not spew memorized talking points and still be electable. Trump is being pressed on some issues and his response has been "I will get good people in charge of finding a solution", etc. which I can support given the right circumstances. I don't believe that someone has to have all of the answers laid out when they say they would like to address a problem/issue.Godfather. said:pjhawks said:come on people it's part of the act and the more people he pisses off the easier it will be to drop out (and blame the media for it) which ultimately i think he is most likely to do. no way Trump is taking this all the way to the general election.

That being said, Trump is not electable. Not even close. His immigration "solutions" are really simplistic fourth grader type solutions that won't fly in the real world. Same with his position on China. He keeps yapping about how China has taken our manufacturing jobs when it was actually the US manufacturers that chased cheap labor overseas.Remember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

I don't think it is hate. He is saying that we need to stop illegal immigration. He is fine with legal immigration. That is not hate, that is just common sense (and actually lawful, but laws don't matter anymore).josevolution said:with everyday he spews more hate no tolerance of minorities ...

I do think his views about illegal immigrants are indeed racist. And I do believe he is generally racist. He just can't say anything against legal immigrants and he knows it.bootlegger10 said:

He's the nouveux riche kind of racist though, lol. He's not the openly racist kind. He's the kind who is racist but doesn't think he is and will honestly deny it to his grave. There are tons of people like that (I'm sorry to say my mom is like that too. She says these racist things, and when I call her on it she thinks it's ridiculous that I think what she said is racist... but they are things that shock other people if I tell them, lol).Post edited by PJ_Soul onWith all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Ha. Soo true on those that don't realize they are racists. Sometimes cringe hanging out with friends and family venturing out in the world. What are they going to say.PJ_Soul said:

so far on many issues yes, I'm exicted for him and his run for president but also worried what could happen if he wins, I am a little worried about how he would handle foregin matters, if he does what he says he would with taxes and a few other things i believe it would help working class America.Gern Blansten said:
