A really bad choice, imo... how people can be happy to have a vault show already officially released almost ten years ago is beyond me, but hey... seems to me they are choosing the easy way with this and the last vault show, with soundboards ready to be released.. all the unreleased never-heard shows they must have, and they disappoint with this.. I don't give a shit if they just want to fight bootleggers.. if this is the case, I'm going to print and unofficially release vinyl copies of a 1995 show of my choice, so maybe next year they will choose that.. they didn't even include the last song "My Way", when they could just took it from the 1995 xmas single.. meh
I personally couldn't care less if a show was already released. I'm happy to get any good show on vinyl. I also like that they are screwing the bootlegger. It's a little added bonus IMO. I'm not specifocally thrilled about the at list in this (aetlostlthiughlthough Blood is exciting), but really just because I am a fan of all the middle albums most, so I don't gravitate towards the early bootlegs as much. If i had a choice, I'd always go for a boot that is from 2003 at the earliest, and ideally post-Avocado, just for the much wider song selection. But I still enjoy the early stuff. I see absolutely no reason to whine about this vault release.

I'll take any vault release on vinyl because it's PJ Vinyl, but this one does feel more like a response to the bootleggers since a white vinyl version of this show just came out this month. I do hope the next one is something unreleased and not another radio show, like Soldier Field. I am glad I got months to pay for this with a new vehicle coming shortly. Thanks for another vault vinyl release and with plenty of notice 10C.
But soldier field has been officially released on vinyl already (limited ed). And there are a ton of bootlegs of it too.

Do you really think PJ is releasing a 10c-only Vault vinyl to "respond" to a bootleg copy of the same show that maybe 1-5,000 will buy, isn't commercially available and won't sound/look nearly as good? Dumb is as dumb does.
Always GREAT to have another Vault release, especially a '93 show. The first two vinyl Vaults have been excellent and can't wait to see the packaging for this one.
We have '93 and '98 shows. Will be great to look back and hopefully have '94, '95 and '96 in a few years. Will make a hell of a vinyl official bootleg collection for the good fans.
A 4 month presale?? Crazy. Even crazier is that people will give 10c their money today.

I don't think it's crazy that people Think 10c released this to combat a bootlegger. You really think this is a coincidence????

Ordered, though IMO December is the worst time of the year to ship vinyl. Postal service's are totally stretched and certainly for me, everything I get in December always ends up dented so a little earlier would have been better. I wonder if it will ship from Europe again. I emailed 10c about 3 or 4 times to ask why Europeans overpaid on shipping of Vault 4 and they couldn't provide an answer, just ignored me.
I don't mind the choice or the price as long as the quality of the record is actually good and not the complete mess LB and Vault 4 was. I buy new vinyl all the time, and I've never had more problems with quality control than special releases.

I think it's another home run for the Vault series. An early 90s show with Dave A.
Sure everyone wants a 1996 show including myself, but I really have to believe they are saving that for the No Code / Yield reissue this year.
Another great Vault to go along with the collection.

How could it possibly cost this much to ship a double LP? With no tracking no less
I just went to USPS.com, it looks like the last vault would have cost $35-$38 to ship Priority International and that includes tracking. I don't know if this similar size package would qualify for First Class International at a lower cost with no tracking, you have to go to the PO in person to get this quote I think.
I would be prepared to pay the $35 and have it shipped via USPS. The current 10C International shipping program just misses the mark in todays day and age. In fact its pretty much garbage.
I see a couple of comments on a few songs here but can anyone comment on the whole show and thoughts on why this one was chosen? I think the vault series have been great period pieces and have really drawn me in when I listen.

pretty sure this is the same show soundstage direct was selling. got mine in the mail yesterday. haven't spun it yet but I know I won't be waiting until September.
How could a 2lp set weight 4-6 pounds? And we pay the same for a 2lp as a 3 lp? Of course we are going to buy this but really.... I'd be more excited about a Benny reissue!
It's funny how everything on here except for "TC and PJ are great" or "thanks for another great release, TC" is taken as "bitching". See, I'm not even complaining about shipping costs and such (and I'm in Italy, so like many others, there will be taxes to pay), I'm used to that. I don't even care that I already bought this show from basecamp in 2006 for (I think) around $10. This is a great show and obviously an upgrade over the previous official mp3 version, but seriously, I'm just seeing some laziness in these latest two vault releases, and I think they could dig a little more into their archive to give us something new that we hadn't previously heard.. That said, I will buy this, of course, but probably in september.. ..and again, the above is an opinion, can we still say or write them without be considered whiners or bitchers? I will add a PJ is fuckin great, man! anyway, just to be sure,
My first PJ show.....a good one but they should have called it good with Porch.
