  • Man, jurgen makes it tough sometimes. Plays bedoya out of position and takes him out before the half...rough

And he just can't stick with a consistent back 4. What a fucking mess tonight.

Yep. Just awful. Not exactly the momentum the U.S. needs going into the Mexico game next month.

This game shouldn't even have happened in the first place, that's the real embarrassment, never mind the fact this game was played in front of no one.
Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
    Sammi: Wanna just break up?

Why shouldn't it have happened? They should play as much as possible during the designated international FIFA dates.

Should have been 8-1. As bad as that looked USA is looking better creating oportunities. The problem is they can't defend or finish.

    Thanks everybody!

Tickets were for club seats, so we had a good view. The experience is certainly different from baseball, football, basketball, or hockey. I would like to go again.

  • HUGE game tonight. Going to be a tough environment since the Rose Bowl will be pro-Mexico. Gotta get the job done and get into the Confederation's Cup. Bedoya being out will hurt.

Horrid performance in the second half.

U23 team lost to Honduras to get bounced too.

    Not a good year

And now this Fabian Johnson disaster. Not sure things could get worse at this point

Yeah, it sounds like Fabian is on JK's shit list. Read this yesterday: http://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2015/10/12/armchair-analyst-fabian-johnsons-exile-state-jurgen-klinsmanns-usmnt

I don't blame Johnson for nursing/protecting his calf. Way too many players pull up lame after JK's camps. As a Sounders fan, I'm glad Deuce isn't playing the next USMNT game. He needs to stay healthy for his club's playoff push, and playing on the USMNT isn't a way to stay healthy these days.

Good god. A bad year gets worse. Gulati is going to have to say something about the program at some point here.

Yep. What a disaster of a year. They better get their shit together since WC qualifying starts pretty soon.

I'm not sure what JK throwing Johnson under the bus publicly is supposed to accomplish. Johnson is the only guy on this team playing in the Champions League right now so you'd think JK would love him.

Johnson scores in the Champions League today. Good thing Klinsman hates him now.

NYCFC coach got fired. Cuz the team didn't make the playoffs. In their first year of existence. When 2/3 of their DPs didn't turn up until August. Fun times!

Klinsman is an asshole. I don't mind him still being the coach, but he should not be coach and technical director. Not with the form this team has shown over the past year.

Yea we are owned by man city. Which is why they had all that money to spend on retired Europeans.
That and ya know, the fact that we don't have a stadium. :fp:

I would really like a rivalry between us and Philly. Mostly because I like saying "Phuck Philly". It rolls off the tongue nicely! the two teams were quite evenly matched.
