    Hahaha i tune in to him now and then, good for a deep belly laugh...last time he was decrying how liberals use fear to influence people (climate alarmist rant) and how that is "downright deplorable" then it cuts to 2 commercials using his voice, one to sell guns after lamenting on home invasions and personal protection, the next for lifelock to protect yourself from identity theft lol

    well....

    considering that "acting" is essentially "pretending", i can't be bothered by this. straight actors pretend to be gay and vice versa all the time. a person who supports tighter gun laws can use a fake gun in a pretend movie.

    it is not like chuck norris is trying to be in a pro choice movie or something...

    people on the right just seem bitter that sean penn has done the following, while most of them have sat on their butts and complained about him:

    attended protests and marches against the iraq war
    visited Iran as a journalist in 2005 and attended friday prayers there
    played harvey milk and has been out front in the gay marriage fight
    beat the government response into louisiana and rescued people following katrina
    founded a relief organization for those affected by the haiti quake in 2010
    provided direct aid to the victims of the pakistan flood

    because right/left is always a part of things. it does not "enter into things" when one of the two wings initiates the debate by stating it's case. it is there from the beginning.

    You sure are missing a few more...how about the one when Mr. Wonderful tied up Madonna for hours w/ a extension cord, beat her countless times, left the house for a bit to get more booze and beat her again. She was able to break free after he passed out before performing a sex act for the husband of the year. Can't wait to hear you guys defend those actions. That might be a bit tricky for some of you liberals, but I have faith someone will compromise their values to defend this dick's actions.

    Muskydan made this a right/left issue from the start.

    Right/left does enter into most discussions, particularly political ones...I understand not liking it, but you can't just dismiss it out of hand because you don't like the dichotomy. This country is sharply divided between ideals which have been lumped to one side or the other, most people fall in between but the politicians they elect don't.
    I just watched the doc Citizen Koch (obviously about citzens united and money in politics) and these dumbass Wisconsin voters were lamenting Walker's union shakedowns saying "I'm a proud Republican and I voted for him with confidence, but this isn't what I expected from him, these aren't my values."

    Well pay attention to this, this activist of the year in question has beaten and done terrible acts to woman wether you want to believe it or not. But as many have pointed out he is just an actor and roles like this never influence anyone..Yikes!!!!! Enjoy the movie and someone please give a review.
