  • Later the better I have to take my nephew to his baseball instructor and was thinking my wife might have to take him if the draft was at 6, wasn't sure I would be back in time. A 10 year old kid will be very happy you had to work on Sunday!
The love he receives is the love that is saved
  • So what time are we doing this on Sunday?

OK. So I am trying to setup my strategy. I see that we play for a week, but is it daily transactions or weekly? Week runs Monday to Sunday?
I will be on auto-pick for the draft as I will be travelling for work.

By transactions, I meant lineup changes. We change them daily or once weekly?

Your line up is set daily. But you can set your daily lineup for the week anytime.

For example, let's say you know you won't be able to check your line up for a few days. Monday morning, you can set your lineup for every day of the week. You will know if a player has an off day on Thursday or what the probable pitchers will be for every game that week.

    Does that answer your question?

The week runs Monday to Sunday vs an opponent? If a guy is off on Thursday, I can replace him that morning and then put him back in on Friday?

Yes. Monday through Sunday. And yes, if a guy has an off day, you can bench him that day and return him back into the lineup the next day.

I really think we should add blown saves as a scoring category. Currently, it looks like there is one less pitching category than hitting. There should be a penalty for having a shitty closer. I would have a blown save be worth -5, but would settle for -3.

What do you guys think? We need to settle all scoring before the draft. Once the draft is held, no scoring can be changed.
  • I would go -10 for a blown save. Its the worst possible thing a pitcher can do. It should be worth to me double a save.

  • Changed my mind. I vote for -5. If he takes the loss as well it would make it -10 for the blown save.

I agree that it's the worst thing a pitcher can do. I am all for a reliever taking the loss and the -3 or -5 for the blown save

I think -3 is fine. Sometimes not his fault completely like an interception is for a qb.

I don't think I can change it now, but the biggest mistake was not having any bench players for pitchers. Had I realized that, it would've been changed.

Now you guys need to set your trading blocks. Hope you guys like to trade
  • The joy of doing drafts early on in spring training, you watch guys you drafted go out for the season not even 12 hours after the draft. So sorry to whomever drafted Wheeler. I had in my queue to have someone else take him in the same round before I could. I thank you very much for having done that now.
