I love the comments by AshHavo14 about the subtleties of this show as well. I felt the same way at the end of Black when he said "good luck".
Over played as it is on rock stations this was the best Jeremy I've seen by far, the energy and visually the way they flashed those bright white strobe lights on ED at the end when he says AHHHHH!!! then dim spotlight on Jeff for his finish awesome.
I found my self just trying to take it all in.
It's so exciting when they are performing, I find myself thinking just listen to this, slow down take in the awesome crowd participation. And The soaring guitar solos of mike during Black, Fucking Up, Alive. Ya, know.
The thing is, they just keep getting better. Thanks AshHavo14

I thought I heard "Paint it Black" during the solo also.... That may not have been the intent, but I've heard "Crazy Mary" live a few times, and don't remember hearing it in there previously.

Hey everyone :D (first post just joined)

This was my first PJ concert! What an amazing night, so many incredible moments. Was one of the first times in my life where I was in a place where it seemed like everyone was just like me, pure happiness.

I finally downloaded the bootleg for the show this past weekend. Best $5 I've spend in a while! (Apple lossless - 2015 membership code). Downloaded it for Yield, was blown away by the rest of the show as well! Rats! Fucking Rats, are you kidding me?!! Didn't even realize they played that; it's one of my white whales. I would love to go back in time and get tix for this show!!

A fan requested It by writing Rats on a cheesehead. Eddie got booed when he said I can't wear this I'm from Chicago. Stone ended up wearing it later on

Ahh, it was a cheesehead! I figured it was a jersey but knew it had to be something Packers-related when he said that.

Just listened to this boot yesterday.....what a great fucking show this was! Still can't believe I heard both No Code and Yield front to back in a 4 day period. What a weekend.

He got an equal amount of cheers... it was a, shall we say, heavily mixed audience that night. :D

High quality, no, but it did indeed happen. :)

I went to the last 4 shows on this tour and although I get crap for it Milwaukee was my absolute favorite.

Sometimes it's not the song that makes you emotional it's the people and things that come to your mind when you hear it.
  • I am partial to the Milwaukee show because I was there, but after listening to other boots of the tour...Milwaukee was the best by far. While I get the novelty of the Moline show with No Code, I think YIELD came off much better in terms of a live show. Plus the rest of the show was equally amazing, where at Moline, EV literally says they are making it up as they go along.

Is it weird to still be on a post-show high nearly a year after...? This show was amazing for me because a) it was my first PJ show ever, b) it was my 21st birthday (when we sang Happy Bday for Tom Petty I pretended it was for me...) and c) Yield is my fav. album. Unreal.

  • Boo!! And Happy Halloween everybody!

Listening to this show again, slowly celebrating its one-year anniversary, and it's just freaking incredible! Yield is in my top 5, but not my favorite album, but shucks it is magic live! Even the songs I would normally skip - mainly Pilate and Push Me, Pull Me - were fun to hear and the crowd was eating it up. The whole setlist just flows so well and nothing can be skipped on the bootleg. Red Dot and Pendulum were an exceptional teaser combo and everyone was rearing and ready to go. Then BOOM - MYM -> Brain of J was bonkers, and highlighted by one of the best Corduroys I've heard and Rick Nielsen on Baba with lights on early in the show, followed by the Yield run. Nice changes of pace with Evenflow, Sirens, Rats. Setting Forth actually is a great set-up for RVM, which featured some ear-splitting crowd-screaming at the end, and some of Matt Cameron's finest work bringing set 1 to a close.

Encore 1 - Nice break and slow build with Tom Petty HB and tribute moment before the Got Some, Jeremy (another exceptional version), Lukin, Porch run gives you a second wind.

Encore 2 - Again, nothing you would change or skip. Still LOVE the Stone solo on Fuckin' Up, and then Cready closing a show as only he can!

Only regret is that there's no Red Dot crowd-singing on the boot.

I just don't think it gets any better than this.
