Now for some bitchin'. Not about the band but about my fellow 10 C members. How the fuck can you leave a show before the band takes it's bow? I don't give a shit how many times you've heard Alive or Ledbetter, you know how bad that looks when the arena lights are on and people from the first 30 rows are filing out with the band still playing? It's embarrassing to say the least. Have some fucking respect for the band.
That's it, I'm done ranting.
Great show!
I'm a single mom and I don't drive; every show I've been to has been via public transportation. I used to leave during the last song to avoid the rush of people leaving during the show and catch the first or second bus back home. I shaved a good 15 minutes off my return trip doing this, but I've since gotten my priorities straight. You're right--it is disrespectful to the band to walk out while the show's still on. And seriously, how important is that 15 minutes? I have yet to be at a Pearl Jam show where they didn't play at least 2 encores, and it's only right that if they're gonna play it, I'm gonna stay and hear it. So Grandma's on duty for an extra 15--that's just more time spent with her grandson, and more time for me to listen to my favorite band in the whole wide world.
A fair exchange all around.

I originally didn't have a ticket to this show, but my friend Dan convinced me to come along just in case seats became available. Luckily, there were some seats and I got section 119, about 10 rows away from Stone.
The crowd was much better on night 2 than night 1 and the band sounded better in my opinion. I loved hearing "In Hiding" and "Hard To Imagine" along with kick-ass versions of "Comatose" & "State of Love & Trust". "Inside Job" was the new song I wanted to hear most that I didn't get either at Irving Plaza or ER1. If "Unemployable" was played too, the night would've been even better.
Did some tailgating in the parking lot beforehand and had a kick-ass time.
Overall, probably the best PJ concert I've been to out of the 4 I've seen.
If you're headed to the grave,
you don't blame the hearse.
First night was really good, 2nd night was awesome. They played almost 2 hours and 50 minutes!!!! Hope they come around once more and hit Madison Square Garden.
For what it's worth the MSG show was 7-8-03 not 8-7-03.

On the way home from the show I noticed my hands were cracked and bleeding a little from all the clapping I did. My hands are still healing. Anyone else get chapped hands from clapping a lot?
Also, YEA YEA YEA!!! I don't have to try to frantically learn/relearn the songs anymore. Out of sight out of mind, well not really, but . . .

Great show, heard some songs for the first time. Of the four I attended, I put it right up there with Boston 2. Had fourth row of section 8 which was the best I have ever been, I was pumped. I dont know what is up with row 4, but I had the last seat and had to stand in the isle because it was so tight. I got pushed back in by the security the whole nite, cramping two people in front of 1/2 a seat on the end. I didnt let it bug me though, what a show it was!!!!!
So glad they played Hard to Imagine at ER Nite 2. Love the way this songs builds, a very underrated track!
