Not too serious or anything. Long story short, one of my cats scratched me. Was on reclining chair kinda relaxing and not paying attention. One of my cats jumps on me and startles me. She dug her claws and me and jetted . I think that was the first or maybe second time she scratched me actually. 😼

I had a cat who was laying on my chest while reclining in my chair jump up grab my neck on each side with its claws and bite my nose. was bleeding in 3 places. sorry...had to get that off my chest.

The camera down the throat into the stomach. I had 3 now last one I was sure I didn't have sedation...I did .
This was an awful experience so if there is another. Sedation all the way

I’ve had NG tubes twice, maybe three times. They’re no fun.

Here we go again. Last August, I got up out of a chair at a bit of an angle and my knee felt like it dislocated. Mighty painful!

And then, a little over a year later, earlier this evening, I got up from my desk chair to go into the kitchen, took one step, and SNAP! Same knee as a year ago, only this time I did not twist my knee or do anything unusual. I just stood up and it snapped really loudly. My wife was in another room and said, "I heard that! Are you alright?" For a minute or so, all I could do was groan. Hurt line an s.o.b.! And what seemed odd to me is that I couldn't bend my right knee. The slightest bend gave me shots of intense pain. I managed to get in the easy chair in the living room with my leg straight out, propped up with an ottoman, and draped the knee with a good sized ice pack.

I told my wife, "I don't have time for this [cursing, cursing], I've got things to do. No way am I going to start falling apart at 73. [More cursing]."

She said, "It's part of aging, you have no choice."

She's not fond of me cussing, so I sucked it up and said , "We'll see. Let's watch a Rockford Files."

Good choice! James Garner had shot to hell knees and he still managed to make the move "Space Cowboys" at the age of 72. Good motivation, thank you Mr. Garner.

Two and a half hours later, I've gotten some mobility back.

Last night I was pretty certain I'd be calling my GP this morning, but it's loosened up and I just aching some so I'll give it the weekend and see how it goes. Between my wife and I, we've wracked up way to many medical bills this last year or so. Thank goodness a lot is covered by medicare, but there have also been a lot of dental and vision bills, so we've been kind of hammered this year. That and the fact that I'm totally sick of going to medical appointments. Good grief, I feel like I've spent half my life in a doctor's office this year!
