I'm a huge U2 fan and that's the most-played artist/band for me, with about twice as many plays as #2 (according to my last.fm stats). Even then, U2 makes up about 5% of my total listening habits. And thus, Pearl Jam about 2.5%.

There's so much other (i.e. non-Pearl Jam or related) great music out there that deserves to be listened to.

PJ are one of my main ones obviously and still my favourite band but among my other favourites are Tom Waits, Sonic Youth, Black Crowes, REM, Mark Lanegan, Nick Cave, Bruce Springsteen and lots of others. PJ are always there when I need a fix though. Sometimes I'll only listen to them for days at a time but not as often as I used to.

As much as I'm a huge PJ fan I also listen to other groups a lot: Neill Young/Crazy Horse, Jimi Hendrix, The Replacements/Paul Westerberg, The Ramones, New York Dolls, Luna Rex, Green Day, Mission of Burma, Minutemen, Lou Reed, The Doors, Stones plus other groups and all my blues, jazz, folk and older country records and a little classical and Zydeco ,now and then. Oh yeah, and my tinnitus.

25% or less, definitely. I'd say 15%? Although that is still a LOT of PJ. I listen to music for most of my waking hours including when I'm at work. I don't go anywhere without my mp3 player and always have it on unless I'm talking to people or at a concert. I spin vinyl at home as long as I'm not watching TV, sleeping, or blow drying my hair, lol. My life is pretty much filled completely with music, so if I played anymore PJ than I do it would get old pretty quick, haha.

Have been listening to some of the 95-96 shows while walking recently, but I really don't listen to much PJ. Lately I can't seem to get enough stoner/sludge rock, bands like Egypt, Uncle Acid, Sleep, OM, Pelican, to name a few.

When they put out a new record it's higher, but at most I listen to PJ once every couple days (Probably a lot less on average). I love too much music and if I listen to any one thing too much then I enevetiably take a break from it for a bit. PJs still one of my two favourite bands though.

Too much awesome sounding music out there to limit my listening pleasure.Love PJ and Love these here boards, but I'm not a one band kinda guy.
Truth be told I probably listen to Foo Fighters more then any other band. But I get my recommended allowance of sweet PJ nector everyday.

Today Shinedown,Blake Shelton,Joan Jett and Stone Sour have dominated the Ipod

I chose the 25% -50%...but I am probably at 30%. There are so many other bands that I love and listen too...I just consider Pearl Jam my all time favorite band...for so many more reasons than just the music. I mean my son's middle name is Stone. :)

I try to mix it up too, but then I find myself jumping around a lot. PJ is the only band I can just my music on shuffle and let it go for hours without having to skip anything.

I LOVE My Morning Jacket, Wilco, Band Of Horses, Beck, The National, Pixies, Queens Of The Stone Age, Bon Iver & Minus The Bear almost as much as Pearl Jam.

I force myself to listen to other stuff just to keep things fresh. I listen to internet radio all day at work so I hear and enjoy most new music.
When I'm working out or taking a walk, my go to is PJ because I am transported to another place and thoroughly entertained!

Pearl Jam is like comfort food. :)

My problem is a combo of laziness, space, and commitment. I've got 52gb of music on my phone. 14.7 of that is PJ. This is only the more recent bootlegs and all the studio albums, because I wanted to make space for non-PJ music post-tour. The rest is split between 47 artists, with Tom Petty taking up 3gigs (Going to see him at MSG next month). I actually had to remove my entire Van Morrison folder because It was just taking up too much space.

So every time I want to change things up I have to sit down and make decisions about which albums by which artist I wanna put on my phone.... and it's boring and it takes forever and I don't wanna.

Then there's the problem of actually having an hour (or in the case of PJ bootlegs 3 hours) to dedicate to listen to an entire album .... How often does that happen?

Talk about first world problems right?
