Yeah...Dayne Henry. Still trying to track him down. I'm not the type of guy to show up on someone's door step but I'm almost at that point. I call him every couple of days to entertain myself and to remind him he still owes at least several people $52 each. If anyone else got burned by this asshole, please contact me. If anyone else wants to voice their displeasure with this thief he can be reached at (213) 785-7514. Don't worry, he won't answer and he sure as fuck won't call you back.

word of advice, I usually never do paypal as a gift unless I've worked with the other person before, it's worth it to add the extra dollar for some protection. Heard of people getting screwed and never getting the item they paid for.

That being said I've made a ton of trades and sales on here and never been screwed once, pj fans are the best.

I don't use the gift option either, unless they are a well-known member with a proven track record. Then I'm cool with it. :)

There are a couple of prizes that I've won here and never received, but they weren't for raffles where I paid any money, so they were really just kindly proposed gifts that never appeared, so I never said a word about it and don't mind. But if you actually paid for raffle tickets and won the prize but never got it then that's definitely a reason to remind the person to send what you're owed IMO. :)

shit i hope it wasn't any of my fund-raisers on here ThePedro or PJ_Soul. I take pride in making sure everyone feels glad they participated so now I'm paranoid something got lost in the mail or something. If it's me, let me know and I will do what I can to fix it.

    +1 Paul

and i know this doesn't help any situation laid out here... but i've learned to know your friends, and know your enemies even better. remember that guy that started that "list"? joker :-\"

and don't forget that buyers/traders should be on the same page with packing/shipping arrangements... only time i've been burned.

Lost Dogs has been nothing but happy and friendly trades for me. It may be a flippers paradise but it has been a great addition to the forums. Best PJ merch resource ever! Sad to see another couple of trades gone bad and I hope they get resolved. For the thousands that have taken place on here I've not heard that many bad ones as a percentage to be fair.

I've only had one bad experience but it was just a 1 for 1 sticker trade. The other guy may have just forgotten and I never followed up.

Nooo, you're on the ball I think! ;)
I was promised a poster I won in a kind of friendly after-the-fact 'thank you for donating' draw that never turned up, as well as a CD from a similar kind of thing, but I had never been told I'd get something when I donated to the causes, so I wouldn't really hold that against anyone since it was just a proposed kind gesture on their part, not a promise of anything .... i can't even remember who the people who were going to send these things are now, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't you EV, lol. :)

Glad to see that most people have had mostly positive experiences. I have never been ripped off here. All good buying/selling/trading experiences so far. :x But i really hate hearing about bad experiences. It's not just the bad feeling of getting ripped off by someone you trusted. It's made worse by the disappointment you feel about not getting the PJ item you were excited about scoring. Disappointment blows! I hate it!

@pdalowsky Um do you mean me? I certainty hope not, I've never screwed anyone, and if the other party wasn't happy with the item when they got it I've made it right (which happened once). Please either make your statement clear or call me out for a bad trade but don't leave something hanging like that.

Oh no no no no ,

Absolutely no reference to you at all. This was a reference to my deal and the guy who is in the process of shafting me.... He had a good track record and we'd been in touch for a lot of years ... But the more I learn about it all the worse it feels

Ah whew, well good luck in getting that resolved. I know you've done a few of the bigger deals around. (Also if your ever able to do the used guitar string bracelets again I may have to be the first in line for one of Jeff's).

It's really surprising to me that anyone who spends significant amounts of time on here would screw someone over, but this is the second case I've heard of where that happened.

Sorry to hear OP and Paul, hope it gets resolved.

I'm not admitting to being "screwed" yet. I'm still thinking people are busy, people have lives...understandable if things take a little time. What scares me more is that there is no response to the messaging. But like I said...people have lives...

I still feel like it will show up...the person I was trading with was Super Nice...so I have faith...lol.

This is crazy to me! Have you guys written 10C? He shouldn't be making posters for PJ if he's screwing fans over. So weird.
