    I think they'll be very different setlists, or at least i'm hoping they will be! Obviously there'll be a fe repeats (Betterman, Severed Hand, WWS etc), but i think they'll be two very special shows!

    Do you think they will play more off Riot Act (in Europe in general) because they did not tour there after it was released?

    Definitely. I'm hoping to hear most of the album, i love Riot Act.

    back in '96 the setlists were different, but with a lot in common.... i believe it will be more or less the same....

    there is a Euro PJ community called Bugs.
    They are planning a gathering during those shows.
    PM me if anyone is interested and I can send you more info once I know it.
    There's going to be a lot of us there from all over.

    Bairro Alto (by night and by day...)
    Chiado
    Estrela Church
    Baixa
    Parque das Naçoes (where is Pav Atlantico, the venue)

    close to Lisbon:
    Linha de Cascais
    Sintra
    Arrábida

    besides, i've already offer to do some tours with whoever want to... :) just have to buy me a drink or so, eheheh :)
    i'll be here on vacations (arriving from Barcelona on the 2nd) untill the 8th September! :)

    feel free to pop questions, i'll help in whatever i can!

    and to an irish pub where he went for a drink and ended up singing and playing....and nobody knew it was EV!!! baaaaah, i was in college and couldn't make it:'(

    OK, so I didn't have time to read all the posts, but I just wanted to say:

    If there is anyone out there looking for a great hotel in Lisbon, I have one. I stayed there by random chance when I first traveled there with fellow students in '98. When I went back (solo) to see PJ in Lisbon (first show of the tour), I headed straight towards it, as it was the only think I remembered/knew.

    It is not fancy, it is not going to knock your socks off..... but the view from my room (both times I've stayed there) overlooked an amazing castle wall (castelo de Jorge?) It knocked MY socks off, mainly because I couldn't f'in believe that I was half-way around the world, ALONE, to see Pearl Jam. But it's also a nice place.

    PM me if interested, and I'll look to see the name (I saved the hotel card from the front desk).

    Enjoy Lisbon (awesome city) and Pearl Jam. I'm jealous!

    That's crazy stuff. Was there ever an article about this or any word on what he sang?

    Hi, sorry to interrupt you!
    I am looking for a floor ticket (Plateia em Pé) for September 5 show. Does anyone have a spare?
    I tried Ticketline. But seems sold out except for balcony seats.
    I have not decided yet, but I am thinking of flying from Japan if I can get one for my summer vacation because PJ do not seem to come to my coutry on this tour.

    Am so excited - am scramblng to get work done so I can just forget about everything when I go.

    I just want to scream when I think about the concerts! Brings a smile to my face - just thinking about them.
