if anyone is still interested in lisbon tickets, try http://www.ticketline.pt

i've heard the 4th is sold out and there's no more standing tickets for the 5th, but just try on that site and you might be lucky.

well, on toronto #2, Eddie makes a reference to Portugal when they sing happy birthday to Sean Kinney, when he says Sean would see the video of the that in Portugal in the next few days...

The band is eagering for the return to Portugal :D:D

10C tickets are always picked up at the window. I'm trying to get the courage up to ask 10C how many tickets they sold for each night to get an idea of what time I should be there.

Good questionss. We get in 15 mins early but I hope the front of the floor isn't filled up already with "special people". I plan to be there at lunch time and just hang out... be there when the 10c office opens...

It opens at noon doesn't it? That's quite early. I plan on being there fairly early but we also want to go to the Oceanario and do some other things earlier in the day(s). I highly doubt there will be many people in there before us. I just want a nice spot on the rail and I'll be plenty happy.

Not sure when it opens - hadn't heard. 12:00 is pretty early. Figured lunch time in Portugal is 2-3 pm. And am HOPING there's not a lot of people in there. This will be the closest I will ever get to the front with my high 10c number.

lunch time in portugal is from 12 am to 2 pm. usually people start meeting up after that for some drinks, there's plenty of sites near the venue where you can do that.
As for the oceanario guy, i would suggest you to get the tickets at the venue then go for a walk at the oceanario, it's great there. ;)

i'll try to figure out when does the booth open.

Thanks Parasol! We'll be driving in from Evora that morning, checking in the hotel and heading down there for lunch and hanging out.

10c club said we will get another email with more detailed instructions and information closer to the show time.

    Ola everyone and obrigada Parasol,

It seems such a long time until the shows! I have not seen much activity on this website from Portugal. Do you have any other (local) websites about Pearl Jam?

I saw on the news last night (SPT) the deftones/Depech Mode concert in Lisboa (Teja Parc?) is that near the Atlantico? It looked crowded - mosh pit & body surfing. Hope there's not much of that at Pearl Jam - I want to be up front!! :)

    there is a local forum @ http://www.pearljammerspt.com

since there is so much time left till the concerts, is still to early to set up something. We're here to answer any doubts that may come.

i was there last night @ Tool, Placebo, Deftones and AIC in Lisbon, and it is near the atlantico pavillion, just 1 or 2 kilometers away.

sure, met the new singer from AIC!

this wasn't at the pavillion, but in an open area!

the pavillion is great, but the sound tends not to be so good, especially if you're on the 2nd balcony. But, the view is awesome and there are no seats behind the stage. It's a very pretty venue, both outside and inside, the roof is wooden, reminds you of some kind of old boat and futuristic from the outside.

    Sure was greeeat!! :)
    Alice in Chains ruled....
    deftones and tool are amazing...

    what a great night!
the only problem was that AIC were the 2nd band, played still in day light and less than the other bands... they deserved more!

about the pj venue, i say it again: not that good... it is pretty, but the sound.... naaaaa

saw there 1 of the worst shows ever: RHCP some years ago...
    but who cares?!?! ;)

i've been to that one too... and yes, the sound was the worst i've ever got to listen to... but i've been to several other shows at the same pavillion and the sound is pretty good standard, guess it was soundboard fault that didn't figured a good set up for the venue.

in fact is like this (it's easy!):
if you are a guy - say "obrigado"
if you are a girl - say "obrigada"

(and we always answer "de nada"!!!!)
