For what its worth, while although he did purchase the gun legally, he had a magazine extender, which to my knowledge is illegal in CA. I've said before I'm for magazine limits. Perhaps there should be a federal law for that, because even though they are illegal they are not all that hard to get when they are legal in so many states.
I have no problem with mag limits.
So write and call your congressional delegations.
We have ten round mag limits in nj. What about your state?
Your post alluded to magazine limits and California having one of the strictest laws regarding but they were easily available elsewhere, thus “something” that could be addressed at a federal level. What about my state or province? 12 or 1,000, what difference does it make? 10 is a nice round number though. Do you really need more than 10 to protect yourself? Maybe from invading caravans?
Why are you so afraid to discuss what geographic area you are from? You are more paranoid than unsung. (And for the record, I like unsung)
But you don’t like me and you have guns. I offered Unsung to show up with a case of beer and he told me not to be insane. I don’t know if was for bringing beer or for showing up. Or for thinking he might shoot me through the door.
Honestly, I don’t know but I believe we passed a law limiting it to 10 or 12 rounds. But we also don’t have a huge problem with gun violence where I live. Never been broken into, never been assaulted, never felt the need to have a gun for protection. Just not something I think about as something I need to be or feel safe. But more than one death is too many and we’ve had more than one.
I don’t like you and I have guns. Seriously? Don’t flatter yourself, in my mind all of these conversations are just talk next to a campfire while drinking beers. No yelling and no animosity. I have five kids and I love my wife to death, I do not ever want to spend one single second in jail. I own firearms to hunt, shoot and protect my family. Yeah a lot of people say what are the chances? Well I d rather be prepared than not prepared at all.
Well, you did rescind the beer offer and I ain’t putting ice in my whine.
That I did but you were acting like a major asshole. (I feel like we are in couples therapy). Maybe you were having a bad day/week/month but you were definitely over the top douchey hence the reason for my beer retraction.
Wow. Well alrighty then. Like you’ve never? Or weren’t? The hypocrisy in these parts is just outstanding.
Don’t be like my ex wife. It really is easy to say a subtle “my bad I was wrong” and move on.
I’ll apologize when it’s warranted. I don’t know your ex wife so I’ll withhold comment.
God damn you are my ex wife.
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAJAHAHAHAHA! Buh ha, Buh ha, buh ha! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

I read that this morning and wasn't sure if it was true since it wasn't confirmed. Wow, just wow. That's unbelievably sad. It's like a real life version of Final Destination.
The NRA again shows themselves to be supreme assholes, telling doctors concerned about gun deaths and gun shot wounds to "stay in your lane" and grumbling about the fact that they are researching and publishing articles on gun violence.

Careful mace. It might be spiked and you’ll wake up married to him.
This thread was started 2014 can someone tell us if any new legislation has been passed since , i don't even want to know the number killed since then ...
THIS!!! I read last night that this was the 307th mass shooting here this year. Of course a lot of them are probably ones like what happened here when a teenager shot his parents and siblings..just a lil family argument you know. I can respect some views of the gun owners here but what has to happen before something meaningful can be agreed upon to prevent this happening over and over again and again and again? Seeing these young people like these survivors from last night and the high school students is awful. If I had teenage and young adult children I would be scared to let them go to school, work, or out with friends.
I've said it before: if Sandy Hook wouldn't serve as the catalyst for meaningful change then nothing will.
Sandy Hook was the embodiment of everything wrong with guns in America.
These 'routine' mass murders are gross, but think of the scene at that elementary school. And look at the shameful actions of those trying to preserve the status quo afterwards.
What the shooting on my comment if you mean my comment I agree but I’d say your comments are just as idiotic since most likely you will say nothing can be done ..
How do you know that the shooter wasn't mad at the results of the election. Kill those damn young socialists. People get shot over sneakers. No one knows who or why yet; but it's not idiotic to say what Jose said. It is just as likely as any other scenario. The end result is the same - dead people, and one of them was a police officer with a gun.
I was wrong, they know who. I hadn't seen any updates since earlier today.
for thread integrity i was being facitiuos with my comment or sarcastic just sick of these massacres , hey Mcgruff did i spell this correctly ? ^^^^^^^^
Upper case F, I and G. We will work on your run on sentences at a later date.

Maybe every gun buyer should have to do stint in a busy ER that treats gun shot wounds? To see what “responsibility” should avoid.
