Well, the last time I lived with my parents I was 18, so...Any other adults around here that still lives with their mom? Anyone?? Anyone at all???
Would you be so mocking and sneerful if you knew that some folks might live with one or both parents suffering from Alzheimer’s or another type of disability in order to care for them?

I work with a woman who still lives with her parents and she's 35, lol. She doesn't even pay rent or any bills. She just spends her salary on travel and clothes.
In my opinion, most anyone that is over 25 (and that is being generous) and does not have some kind of disability or is not taking care of their disabled parents or has had just experienced some major life event and is still living with parents is pathetic. Get off the tit and be an adult, lol!

I didn’t say that there weren’t exceptions, see above post in response to pjsoul. If you are just living there for free room and board so that you can live it up at their expense...you are pathetic.

What if you’re banking everything you earn so you can retire at 40 and your parents are fine with it?

Now that I disagree with. If my colleague were saving all that money for a down payment on a home, I would totally understand. A down payment where we live is a good $150,000 for a condo while the average individual salary is only $40K or something, and rents are skyhigh too - $2K for a one-bedroom. So saving a down payment is literally impossible if you also have to pay rent, unless your salary is massive. But she's not saving. I don't think she even has a savings account.

Sounds like sound financial management to me.
Hope that argument will work when they try finding a boyfriend/girlfriend...

How so? I bet the majority of people would be turned off by grown person freeloading off their parents.

At the expense of who? If they were helping to pay for utilities and meals and possibly rent/house payments I may have a little more respect...but at that point why not try to move out and get a roommate to split the bill with or something?

Maybe so, but I did just say that this was my opinion. If I was still looking for a mate, it would pretty much be a dealbreaker if the person still lived with their parents because I value independence and self-reliance. But you are right, some people may not value those things.
I wouldn't date a man who still lived with his parents either. But I'm also not going to just determine that everyone who does is "pathetic". That's fucking harsh and too judgemental for my blood.

Maybe you wouldn’t judge them as “pathetic”, but you have obviously judged them as undesirable or as not meeting your minimum standards by admitting that you wouldn’t date them. I bet that the majority of people, if polled, would have the same standards.

Of course, I'm not trying to say otherwise. I mean, I'm 42. Of course I'm not going to date a guy who lives with his parents for no good reason when he's middle aged, not least because a guy would have to be way too much of a momma's boy to tolerate that, and I don't date momma's boys. I just see no need to be so insulting and nasty about it.

Yeah okay, thanks for making me feel like shit this morning PJPOWER and PJSoul. I am 34 soon and still at home with my parents. But I pay my own bills and buy my own groceries whilst I study full time. Once again, thanks for deeming me "pathetic" and "undateable". Way to go.

Well why in the fuck are you accusing me of being a part of it??? You're not middle aged, you're paying rent, and you're a student. You VERY clearly do not apply to who I was talking about. Sheesh.

How so? These guns are still illegal to own, they need to have a certain amount of metal in them to be detectable. And the article you cited refers to the Breitbart interpretation of a settlement. There doesn't appear to be a court ruling or precedent set here.
Keep pushing your crazy 'bye bye gun control' dreams though. Eventually our country will reach a breaking point and when it comes time to make serious changes about how our society treats guns; the likes of you won't be invited to the conversation. Your version of reality is not only crazy, it's unsustainable.
I look forward to the faux outrage when a plane full of passengers is shot up at 42,000 feet or there's a mass shooting at an event with metal detectors or an elected representative is shot and killed because some deranged person or terrorist made a 3D printed gun and bypassed security measures. Of course the solution will be more "good" guys with guns. Or strip searching everyone. Yea, that's the society I want to live in.
Are they 3D printing ammo, barrels, firing pins, hammers, springs and primers?

I don't know what a primer is, but yes to the rest besides any ammo that contains explosives I think. You can pretty much make any item with a 3D printer as far as I can tell, assuming it doesn't require additional materials that the printer doesn't contain (including gun powder obviously).

Law enforcement's and security professional's concerns regarding "plastic" guns is well documented as the small amount of metal parts may not be picked up on metal detectors. Its probably just a matter of time until those parts can be 3D printed, with the exception of gun powder.

Why couldn't these parts be 3D printed now? I'm pretty sure they can be, assuming you have the right equipment. There are 3D printers that print with metal too.

I was reading an article earlier about how this is already a bit of an issue in Australia due to difficulty in purchasing one there. In the US, criminals still find it more feasible to get them by other means, but the lower the cost of 3D printers get... https://www.gizmodo.com.au/2016/11/how-real-is-the-risk-of-3d-printed-guns-in-australia/ That article is from 2016...
Nothing or any laws will ever change my opinions on guns/weapons of any kind .. 1-guns are made to kill period ! 2-peace is what I believe in period ! I say keep your guns I hope you get to buy as many as you like and what ever kind you so desire , I’m good living gun free it feels great !

I truly wish more people shared your views. If people just stopped killing, raping, kidnapping, assaulting and victimizing each other, no one would need guns for protection.
