this has prob been asked a million times but does anyone have any tix for Dublin for sale?

it's not so much the tix but the pit bands that'd be the lifesaver!! missed out on the presale by a few mins i think. (damn my non-broadband piece of crap of a computer!!!)

i'm actually irish so it'd be great to see them in my home town!!!!!

Huh, not quite. Well it’s a big 4 bedroom house but it’s not a mansion.

Why not? Listen it’s a party. You’re all welcome to come back to mine, drink until either you can’t drink anymore or there’s none left (which I’ll make sure doesn’t happen), and if you can find room to sit or sleep, it’s yours. We’ll have a couple of spare rooms too. There obviously will not be room for EVERYONE to actually lie down and stuff but it’s shelter for the night and I think that’s what most of yas want to prevent booking somewhere. How does that sound?

Lol, no I live a bit outside the city. I'm hoping the night bus is working - if not shared taxis would be quite cheap anyway.

I reckon you should start making a list of who's gonna be coming to your place Helen (By the way, what's with the Heineken tag? Heineken's a weak lager 3.2% or something. You should have called yourself Stella Helen!) and then start Pming them about it, or you may end up with about 1000 pissed sweaty loons heading back to your place. Just an idea : )

Thanks . You’re not the first to point that out. but the way I see it is that everyone will say they’ll be there. Quite a few will be worn out after the show, some will just go to the nearest pub and others won’t find the place. Obviously they’ll have to have my address to find it so I figure only the people with my number will actually be able to get to the place unless they have written directions from earlier.

I think Helen's is a taxi ride away (is that right Helen).

Will be good for us to drop off our bags though and seen as we are meeting for drinks in Temple Bar first we can also stroll back after three to officially check-in.

I'm on my own in Dublin now that hubby can't make it. Can I ask for shelter with all the others? I've been know to fall asleep standing up after a bit too much drinking (apparently - still to be proven), so I won't be taking up much room!

Oh and sorry, the Heineken thing. I don’t actually drink Heineken – it’s usually crap like Bud or miller or something… but when I’m on holidays usually the only beer I recognise is Heineken and other people have actually Christened me that. when I lived in France they called me that and then 6 years later in South Africa a whole different bunch of people gave me the same name and it kinda grew on me so I like it.

Yep that's right - about 15 minutes... so I'm taking on board all the advice and the party is NOT an open invitation. Thats what the youth hostel is for. 24hr access so taxi for Chime at sleep time
