Just wondered if I was the only person who had not heard of the programme Rockstar. I caught it last night. Works like Pop Idol etc but rock singers

Band Supernova looking for a lead singer with the rest of the band as the judges:

    Drummer: Tommy Lee

    Bassist: Jason Newsted

Guitarists: Dave Navarro and Gilby Clarke

    :D:):D
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

    Link is http://rockstar.msn.com/

I don't know if what I saw was a repeat from a long time ago or just a few days ago as the 'voting lines were closed'.

It's alright. A wide variety of rock songs being perforned by a wide variety of people. It's funny watching the judges rocking out, climbing up on their chairs, theres no 'Mr Nasty' as they are generally quite nice to them all. I more watched for entertainment seeing those guys together. Wonder what kind of music the band will end up making?

I caught it on Sky Three on freeview when channel hopping.

EDIT: looked at the pics of the rockers and looks like it was only an episode out of the loop.
Also found a thread in Other Music on this I had missed http://forums.pearljam.com/showthread.php?t=203574 :o

Heard of it - haven't watched it. Thought:'not Dave Navarro again....' Same kind of thing when INXS were looking for a new singer. The rest of the band + navarro judges.
