Heres a taster for the Argentinian second goal.

    http://football.guardian.co.uk/worldcup2006/minbymin/0,,1788276,00.html

"30 mins: How the f**k am I supposed to describe that? The goal of the tournament so far and quite possibly the greatest goal I've ever seen.

31 mins: Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Backheel. Goal. With 24 short, swift passes, Argentina carve open Serbia and Montengro, before Cambiasso pulls the Trigger from the edge of the penalty area. The Serbia and Montenegro players were left standing like statues - tyhey were completely mesmerised. Make it your business to see that goal."

i like this irreverent commentary :D:D

although just below the goal one he types:-
How can you watch the game and read your emails at the same time?" asks Daniel Pons. I can't, is the simple answer to that question. So if you really want to know what's going on in the match, you should probably have a window from the BBC report open as well.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Wow, this is one of the largest and fun threads I've seen on this tour so far!

I can already feel it -you all will be gathering as long-lost-and-found brothers/sisters/friends...and...

...rocking the fuck out at PJ....just like Buru at her shows in her country!

It's gonna be really special in your country! ;)

Hello IamMine :D Welcome to our thread! We also type in pretty much the same vain on the Astorians thread as that is where most of us met (both the thread and the gig ;) ). A lot of us are heading over from countries that aren't getting gigs on the tour and invading Dublin with Heineken Helen as our host :D
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

It is a bit like that. I started using the Guardian for there over by over commentry of the cricket where obviously they have more time for reading and posting e-mails they receive as well as watching the game. There are about six journalists they rotate and they do most sporting events :D

Glad you guys like them :D

    Congrats Buru :)

I hope there isn't any "crazy" here to go after me for saying such things... :D

I'm happy with four shows! :) Then going on a family vacation in Tennessee.

You all have a great time at your shows! :):D

    Argentina 6-0 Serbia & Montenegro

    Love the Guardian commentary:

    84 mins: GOAL - Argentina 5 - 0 Serbia and Montenegro
Tevez splatters goal pie all over the goalkeeper's face. Picking up the ball on the left wing, he cut inside, rode half-hearted lunges from two Serbia and Montenegro defenders and slotted the ball past the despairing lunge of Dragoslav Jevric. A wonderful goal crowned by a wonderful finish. No back-heels, mind.
