I'm going to do something I've never done before tomorrow - head into the city centre and embrace the atmosphere. I tend to usually avoid it cos it can be chaotic but I've never seen the carnival side of things on Paddys Day and I think it'd be nice to go take a look 8-)

I'm going cross-eyed looking for a holiday cottage in Norfolk (by the beach). Either it's perfect, but not available or two expensive. Or just the right price and good location - may say it sleeps 6 but there are only two room and it's a sofa bed...... *sighs*

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Mrs Al is out with the girls tonight so I'm currently watching...THE EXORCIST! Haven't seen it in years...its no The RIte but pretty good  Think I've worked with a good few kids who were possessed...well they do and say the same things as the girl in the movie.

Jesus I am so bloody excited about GRANT LEE BUFFALO in May...still their 96 show in the Olympia is one of the best I've ever seen. 8-)

    'morning peeps.

Ahhhhhh..... the exorcist!!!! Loved the film, though I find it hasn't 'aged' very well. BTW - congrats to lil' bro for his new thing!

Up to now, my combined tests, though not perfect, seem to suggest there is nothing too 'nasty' (I can say now that the doc was a bit worried, thinking about the big C word! ). So quite relieved. Further consultations with specialists then 'action'! As long as it's not during my time off at Easter! Though I would like to be able to stop my impression of a croaking toad as soon as possible!

Hope all is well with everyone.

It's OK Al. Big (like BIG) nodule on thyroid but it seems it is filled with fluid - which is better news than if it were solid. Just annoying because it presses on the windpipe and oesophagus and it sticks out - thus the toad look!
