Correction, a large gypsy gentleman in a wedding dress screaming 'scream if you wanna go faster'... otherwise it's not a wedding fair then, is it? ;)

Thanks Pip! We might even feed you while you're here ;) oh and you get to meet the infamous kittyboys! :D

Well, we know the date, the finer details are ironed out and we're putting the deposit down and signing the contract tomorrow... I can't wait to with-hold the date from you all ;)

Al, Little Al, enjoy tonight... trust me, brides LOVE white elephant impressions... it's something they'll definately want to make sure granny doesn't miss, so ensure you do it when you have a large audience. I'm sure the groom will really appreciate it too ;)
speaking of October... what kinda space have you got in your place? We may actually get around to visiting if ya wanna do something like that? Cos ya know the way the boys are planning on doing boy stuff while we do girl stuff?

    What d'ya mean?
Our place is tiny. Pippa has claimed the spare room and that's about all the space we have, short of blowing up airbeds in the living room. I have Dave's sister's coming to the event too (one's from Lincoln, the other Worcester) so I may have to put them up too. My other bridesmaids are all in Cov so they can bugger off home for the night  I'll talk to Dave's sisters and let you know :)
What did you have in mind?

:D thought we could make a night of it... as the boys will be meeting up while we're in (right?) and we were gonna go for drinks after? We still doing that?

Unless you all wanna come back here?

Ooohh sounds lovely Rita, which hills?

In Liguria. This is the beach bit, surrounded by hills/mountains http://www.hotelmira.com/fotografie/1024/levante.jpg

This is the main village where the Boggiano family comes from (my family on my dad's side) http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com ... 731834.jpg

My sister's house is in the higher part of the village. Behind the main village, you have another cluster of houses. My sister's is the furthest on the right overlooking everything. http://www.trigoso.it/Paesi%20Val%20Pet ... ARGONE.jpg She faces two hills/mountains which make a sort of M and she can see the sea in between. It's a beautiful part of Italy - the Cinque Terra.

Do you think your sister would mind if I come to stay for a few... years? 8-) It looks fab... Italy's my favourite country apart from Ireland anyway. I love it... could really see myself living there one day.

My sister's planning to retire there. Though I find it a bit too remote for my taste!

'morning (or rather afternoon) all on this peaceful day!

Hmm... Well we can stay in Birmingham drinking and then get the last train home, that's no problem as people will have a choice whether they stay our or not. Dunno about all going back to yours though, we'll need to get home and so will the rest of my bridesmaids

    Morning all!

So... 473 days til I get hitched... 8-)

Got a text from my daughter (who is on hols in Italy). This is what she was up to her first night:

'Last night we went to this big dinner gathering for communists, then we went for an ice cream in Sestri'.

Good to know she keeps up with politics! Dare I post this on the Moving Train??

Real communists. My sister's neighbour (whom, I guess, invited them!), is hardcore communist. Still lots of them around in those parts and still active! Roberto (the neighbour) and I had many interesting conversations!
