Ooohh how's the Dublin one? Can anyone send me? :)

i'll see if i can get my mp3 version up somewhere ('up' meaning online... ).
sound's not brilliant, better than the London 2007 recording but then that's not difficult... ;)
Oh yeah? Well, I've had about enough of morons and halfwits, dolts, dunces, dullards and dumbbells - and you chowderhead yokel, you blithering hayseed, you - you've had enough of me?

I'm miserable... I jusst found the most perfect wedding shoes... and discovered they're £375 :(

But they're perfect.... hmmm.... just take away a couple of hundred from somewhere else! Will Dave really need new shoes? I'm sure a pair of his 'old' ones will polish up quite nicely!

does Dave wear a suit to work ? if not then he's probably only got 1 pair of 'proper' shoes (i know i have :D )... so he'll need a nice, shiny, new pair...

Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

What kinda music do you want them to play? Since you're getting married down the country, you may have to get a band from that area. What my sisters did was get recommendations, then go see the band play at another wedding/party/pub and then just ask them to play.

There are directory websites out there too that'll list bands that are available.

    http://www.weddingbandlist.com/galway.asp etc :D

thanks Jenny :) not really sure yet what kinda music we're going for. I figured local bands would be best but bands in Galway are seriously expensive, but they seem to be specifically 'wedding bands' which I'm not sure makes any difference? Wouldn't a pub band do? And shouldn't they be relatively cheap? Problem is obviously not living in or being from Galway is having its complications. So can't just nip to the pub to check them out but I have people willing to do this for me... so need to choose wisely :D don't wanna be sending them to the pub every night... although maybe they won't mind

Pub bands and wedding bands are one of the same mostly from what I can gather, unless ye want something specific. I know a good Pearl Jam tribute band :lol:

:D not doing the tribute thing... there will be other people there too lol.

Cool... I need to spend a few days online and contact every band in the country and see what the story is :) or I'll just have to get all the guests to sing...and nobody wants that
