    Ooh! Good times ahead. :D

When Return of the King was released, our local cinema was showing the first two right before it. It was fun seeing all the films back to back, and even though they weren't the extended versions, it was still a whole lotta sitting down. (And we actually skipped the last two classes in school to get there on time.
    :shh: )

The cinema also had a costume contest tied in so I was surrounded by elves and hobbits.

I hope that someone could help me...

I have the choice between two different places to see the show... Block F Row 24 or Block C Row 28. What would be the better seats??? I've never been to the O2 before and it's very hard to find some pictures from inside the venue (except the seating plan that didn't helped me much).

Thank you! It's really a hard choice for me... ;)

It look like Block C will have a straight view on the stage whereas Block F at an angle Stone's side. Judging from that I'd go for C.

That said, I had no idea the standing space would be so small. I wonder if I can find the capacity for it.

The new arena can take 9,500 people on padded seats and up to 14,000 in a different configuration, with retractable seats pulled back to make room for 8,000 standing in front of the stage, and the rest comfortably seated

    From here!

I think I misunderstood the numbering. That must be with the reduced block size then. I thought row 24 would be closer than that. So that floor space is a lot bigger than the seated floor plan indicates. Nevermind. Hopefully they'll have the second barrier like they did the last time (they did have that right?)

Yep, they had a seperate pit area for 10c people and GA people who got there early enough to get pit bands. The new O2 doesn't do that all the time though, so you won't really know until the day whether there'll be a seperate area or not.

I'm thinking they probably will. From my understanding it's a Pearl Jam thing- they do it in the countries that allow it, such as Ireland and the Netherlands (Nijmegen & Rotterdam for example). The UK doesn't for some reason. Germany either. I'm sure that's a very simplified explanation but I think I was told this by Pete or someone else from PJ security one time.

D, theirry is correct, I will chillin with Hannibal while you're all in London ;) (yes a part of me would rather be with you lot :()

Jeff I think that the seats come over the back of the standing area so aparrently all seating views are excellent! Can't imagine how were all gonna sqeeze in, but we'll give it a go ;)
