Bah! Train sounds like fun now.

Oh well, I'll be in the queue in Belfast before you've all left Dublin. :P

I chose that train as it gets into Belfast about the right time for checking into the hotel ... think that was the original thoughts on the time.

Think I'll need the rest after the previous two nights  8-)

So what time are you planning on getting there??
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

Although I'm just remembering the state I was in after bussing it from Manchester to London at 4am last year. Ended up sleeping in the queue at the O2 waiting for the check-in time at my hostel.

After last year, I might be starting to agree. Still, I'm only young once (and not for much longer), so I'm going to give the front row a go one last time.

    Or 4 last times.

I will not be queueing for any shows. Never have and never will. I much prefer the luxury of going to the pub before the show, being able to leave whenever I like, not having a stranger scribble a number on my hand and not being shouted at by Sandra for 'jumping the queue' because i've moved forward slightly with a sneeze.
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

I'm almost tempted to queue just so that I can annoy Sandra... I remember sitting with Helen at Manchester and we just walked to the front and sat down, well i lay down cos i was still pissed and I could feel the onset of an almighty hangover coming on and we were sitting laughing about what would happen if we got a row about where we had just sat down... but nobody said a word... but I think i had that "if you're going to bug me it better be fucking worth it" kinda face on me that day....:lol:

actually i'm not sure if no-one said a word... I think Helen might have had someone ask her why we were there? I can't remember....

makes me want to get drunk reliving that.
