    i think i will invest in the beer industry! you can never go wrong with beer!
    quite often it will have a run on effect onto the industries you mentioned above!

    Did you know you could save up to €80 a year by buying your loo roll in Lidl instead of M & S. Also, alcohol sales are down by 22% in September - amazingly enough, they have gone up 20% in the North! Its mad that a can of Guinness, which is produced in Dublin, is cheaper to buy in Newry than in Dublin - stoopid government and their stoopid excise tax! Just wait till tomorrow - budget time!

    Hey folks. I realised yesterday that hippiemom's anniversary is coming up and thought it would be great if we could organise some kinda mass fundraising thing... like if people could do stuff in their locality (i.e. meetup :) ) and give the proceeds to one or some of the charities she supported in her name. I've got in touch with wishlist to see if maybe they could take this on since I'd have absolutely no idea how to go about something like this :o or even if they could just tell me how to do it. What do ya all think? Any ideas even?

    I have to say it was a weak budget :mad: The country is up the shit, they've been going on about how this was gonna be a horrible budget blah blah blah...they've take the medical card off the over 70's :confused: why not just lash an extra 1% onto the income tax, people know that we need to do something to kickstart things again and surely it would have been easier to just make it 2% under €100K and 3% over, people wouldn't have minded an extra %...fuckin wasters just trying to save face, when the country needed some balls....typical....wankers :mad:

    The wife is taking me to Liverpool V Hull in december and I'm well happy with that. When I was at uni in Hull I trained with Hull City for a while so to get to see their first EVER premier league match at Anfield is gonna be sweet :D
