We went to the top of the Arch and went to a well known Bbq place when we were there to see Ed in 2011. Weren't there long enough to do much more that time.

One night you should go down to The Loop on Delmar and go to Blueberry Hill for dinner or some other cool restaurants and then walk to Vintage Vinyl. It's on the same street. You can go the Budweiser brewery which isn't far.

Go to the Hill for dinner and get some great Italian. The free zoo is really nice too. Maybe there will be some playoff baseball too, and then town really rocks.

    Here ya go mcgruff

    BBQ - Pappy's, Bogart's and Surgarfire...in that order

Breweries - Urban Chestnut (great beer, just opened a new beer hall in the Grove but I haven't been able to make it there yet, looks awesome), Five Hands (favorite beer in town, on the smaller side - downtown not too far from the show), Six Row, Perennial and Civil Life are pretty solid too,

If you decide to go to Pappy's, I'd suggest calling ahead for carryout unless you want the experience of the long line.

No, unfortunately. A lot of the places are spaced out a bit from downtown. Your looking at 2.5-3 miles to either bbq place and some of the other places, vintage vinyl, zoo etc are farther out. A short cab ride but long walk. All great places though.

There's a place called Pi, if your into deep dish pizza that's walkable and gets great reviews.
Also, The city Museum is worth checking out for something to do.

Maybe we can arrange some catered Pappy's bbq at the pre-party because it's definitely worth it (maybe a little messy at a bar setting but.....)
