I thought he sounded great for being 70. I think his voice had held up pretty well. He played for 3 hrs and his band is good. I had seen Eddie Vedder two nights in a row, so Paul marked 3 shows in a row. Only thing I was worried about was he was playing minute maid park (baseball stadium) and heard the sound in there wasn't great, but The sound for Paul was done really well. It was cold and they left the roof open, now, I know why- there was a bunch of fireworks set off toward the end. LOL. My buddy from college will be seeing him in October. Have a blast man!

That's awesome man! I can't wait. Just the thought of me seeing a Beatle live is sick, it's a part of history! Lol would he just so happening be going to the smoothie center in New Orleans?

Lucky. Didn't he also play at the Rent or just the Civic Center?

Saw Paul for the second time last Sunday. Took my seven year old and my ten year old.

    Paul was amazing.

    Here is the setlist:

    Eight Days a Week
    Save Us
    All My Loving
Listen to What the Man Said
Let Me Roll It (with "Foxy Lady" by Jimi Hendrix snippet)
    Paperback Writer
    My Valentine
    Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five
    The Long and Winding Road
    Maybe I'm Amazed
    I've Just Seen a Face
    We Can Work It Out
    Another Day
    And I Love Her
    Blackbird
    Here Today
    New
    Queenie Eye
    Lady Madonna
    All Together Now
    Lovely Rita
    Everybody Out There
    Eleanor Rigby
Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!
    Something
    Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da
    Band on the Run
    Back in the U.S.S.R.
    Let It Be
    Live and Let Die
    Hey Jude

    Encore 1:
    Day Tripper
    Hi, Hi, Hi
    I Saw Her Standing There

    Encore 2:
    Yesterday
    Helter Skelter
    Golden Slumbers
    Carry That Weight
    The End

And a few songs that were different from the first time I saw him in 2003 or 2004?

    Jet
    Hello, Goodbye
    Getting Better
    She's Leaving Home
You Never Give Me Your Money
    The Fool on the Hill
    Here There and Everywhere
    Michelle
    Can't Buy Me Love
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)

That's so awesome man! Thanks for sharing! Man looking at that list it's almost all hits. I can't wait. Hopefully he plays some Ram, do you know if he ever plays those songs?
  • I saw Ringo live at a venue he named an album after (Rama Casino). Legendary!!! There were some serious diehards coming out of the woodwork.

All Too Much - Such a great, encompassing type song that is pure goodness. The line about the "silver sun" is excellent and a high point in more ways than one.

Rain - Pearl Jam covered it. Ringo is amazing here and the song is in that Rubber Soul/Revolver era of ultra tight psychedelic vein.

I Feel Fine / I'm Only Sleeping / Tomorrow Never Knows / In My Life (minus key solo) are great.

Mr. Moonlight - Love all the early stuff, this one was so off it is actually cool without meaning to be, love the bizarre organ solo.

In My Life - Enough said.

I'm SO Tired / Julia / Rocky Raccoon / Dear Prudence / Long Long Long / Martha My Dear / Honey Pie / Mother Nature's Son/DOn't Pass me By (live at Rama!) - Rich diggings

Blue Jay Way / Flying (by Ringo, only Beatles Instrumental) are nice songs from Magical MT, which is itself an underrated tune and Ringo shining through again.

Across the Universe / Let It Be / Long and Winding Road - Music for the soul

Because / All of Side Two / heck, Octopuses Garden - Genius

    And so many more.....

The fact it took me less than two minutes to type all this is further testament to their greatness!
