Thinking maybe this November 28th Black Friday Record Store Day there will be another PJ vinyl exclusively release with Newbury Comics? The Ten coke bottle vinyl was to be a RSD release, even though it was sold @ the 10club & Newbury Comic store day's before April 19th. http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/231412/ten-club-newbury-comics-rsd-coke-bottle-clear-vinyl-ten-lp-in-shop/p1

And I just got the black/orange Chulahoma the other day. Now I need this too. Newbury is hurting my credit card.

Yeah, i think they usually set aside a few and sell them at an increased cost if they sell well. I know when the Modest Mouse reissues (LCW, Long Drive) were released my Newbury store was selling a copy of Good News for People Who Love Bad News (which has been sold out on their website) for $50. I have also seen the Nirvana Bleach copies selling for $70ish on their site from time to time.

Oddly enough I have never seen the Coke Bottle Ten for sale, which probably would make the most profit.

  • Newbury seems to be pumping these out as of late. Been like 3 or 4 released over the last couple weeks. Picked up the Duke Ellington & John Coltrane on gold wax today. My first jazz record. Excited and can't wait to spin.

Oh, dammit. I just traded mine in at the record store 2 weeks ago (but just FYI, this version of it sounds like shit. It has a muffled quality to it. That's why I traded it in).

From Newbury's Website regarding the JHE - Axis

The original monophonic mixes have been transferred from the original master tapes using Grundman's all analog mono mastering process.
