Called it! Might hold off for a bit. Seems like a bigger run than some of their other releases. Hopefully I can pick it up in the store and avoid shipping charges.

ORG just put out a 2LP 45rpm pressing of this Cut by Grundman and pressed at RTI. As cool as this is, I think I'd go for the better pressing instead.

I read mixed reviews about the 2LP 45rmp release... The reviews weren't bad, they just stated that they thought it would impress them more. The 180 gram single Black Legacy version of this seemed to get really good reviews but I never picked it up. Appears this is a re-pressing of the Legacy version so I went ahead and grabbed one.

I played Al Gree'ns greatest hits three times already. That record sounds great!

Right on!!! Thank you for posting that Demetrios! Got mine. :) I haven't been so excited about reissues for a long time. I just hope the quality is good on the Newbury releases. I have the impression that it's a little bit hit and miss with them.

issac brock oversaw the remastering of the album himself. so i'm sure this will be the same quality as the normal release, just colored.

Damn, LCW sold out. Hopefully they get some copies in the stores to sell. Otherwise I will be happy with the regular reissue

I'm the same as you I have 2 or 3 copies of this album already.

Notice a limit of 2 per customer this time.
You could buy 5 LCW if you wanted too.
I wonder how they decide how many you can purchase.

Sure it's cool but who needs 5 copies of a "clear" PJ Ten?
It's obvious that the person is going to be re selling them.

2 copies per record sounds reasonable one to play one back up.

I put this in another thread as well.
I'm curious to what your guys thoughts are on this topic.

Should there be a 2 copy limit?
I think so nobody needs 5

I have no vinyl, no CD, no cassette, no digital rips of AYE.
Even without the coke bottle copy I didn't order, I do have a few too many copies of Ten.

I completely agree with you. If there is something I really want, I will buy 2...1 to keep sealed and one to play.

but no one needs 5....only people looking to resell or trade.

Agreed...a limit of two is more than reasonable.

2 should totally be the limit per credit card / addy on these limited edition vinyl pressings.

Anyone familiar with their pre-order process? Pre-authorization charge will drop off the credit card and re-charge around shipping time?
