    Yeah I think I've gone through all the emotions now. I'm good. What I know is they're going to offer the most guaranteed dollars, the most guaranteed years. I'm not going to fault this owner if they come up short. I'm just ready to move on one way or another. Hopefully he announces an agreement with somebody by today or tomorrow.

    Dumb.  Harper isn't taking a short deal because he is going to get a short deal if he wants a short deal with the opt out.  So he will have his choice in the Phillies deal of either a short deal, which would happen if he performs well, or a long deal with promised money if he gets hurt or under performs.  No risk there.  A Phillies deal is both a short and long term deal.

    I actually love "Walking On The Sun." Mostly for nostalgic reasons. Reminds me of beer parties in the summer before 10th grade. "The Way" by Fastball as well.
