Bought nice tickets for Devils in January and Kings in February. Wish I could see live action sooner, have to wait on immediate schedule to unfold. Darn kids are getting in the way of sporting events. Wife wanted to see Devils game as she hates them with a passion and I'm a Kings fan so that was an easy pick.

Yeah, they require me to be nice and not to boo or try to blend in with whatever drunken yahoos I can find around me.

well that's good. afraid we might be getting a copy cat from those in NJ/NY last week.

That was pretty wild though for a second. Dude that works for me was down there and a cop told him there was a pipe bomb. Bunch of choppers and tons of cops.

Random thing is on Tuesday or Wednesday they were having a rally for the police and all and I walked outside of my building at lunch and there was a massive "Homeland Security: Major Incident Response Team" truck completely blocking the street with tons of other types of vehicles. Pretty much the exact same area, 1 block difference.

17-0 or 1-0, either way you have no chance to win when you don't score(obviously). But, i think it's worse when you blow a 2 run lead(twice). one in the 9th and again with another 2 run lead, in extra innings.

Case of good beer on the line for me in these next two games. Always have a season long bet with my buddy whose a Bravos fan. Currently 8-9 in favor of Atlanta with 2 to play. Thought I had this in the bag a month ago. Doh....

Nice to see the R6 with a slammer last night. Guy's actually had a really solid second half.

Went to see a play on Rizzo last night. I knew almost nothing about him and it was real good.

That said, how the hell did sal palantonio go from a legit inquirer journalist who wrote a book on Rizzo to the NFL hack that he is?

Haha, I saw this last winter. It was really good. But not because of Sal Pal - I hear the book is a slob job on Rizzo, so the theatre director who produced the play used it as a basis and then showed all views of that fat ignorant bastard instead of just the Paisan-South Philly-Hero card Sal writes about.

On a related note - go see shows put on by Theatre Exile at 13th & Reed; awesome shows. We saw one last spring that was pretty much a couple doing BDSM on-stage in front of about 30 people. Boy, was my wife awkward.

Yeah. I wanted to see it the first time around, but wasn't going to miss it this time. I thought it was great. Ah, that sounds about right. I read that the family was good with the play and I was kind of surprised. He must have been a real asshole if you are comfortable with that portrayal.

Word. I have heard good things. Will keep an eye on it. That is pretty fucking funny.
