What seems a little fishy is that even with electronic tickets you can't get them until the week leading up to the show. Seems if it is electronic you should get it instantly, like stubhub.
Still a little time left... I'd keep checking here for extra 10C tickets.
"The heart and mind are the true lens of the camera." - Yusuf Karsh
I ordered 2 tickets, each night, for Amsterdam I & II off Viagogo website. I got the e-tickets about a week after I paid for them. I have downloaded them, and can see my Row/seat/etc. Seems very legit on my end, but I was a little nervous too. I just need to print them out, which I am doing soon.
They better work!
2013= Wrigley 1, Dallas, OKC 2014= Amsterdam 1&2, St. Louis, Lincoln, Detroit, Moline, Denver 2015= Mexico City 2016= Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville, Lexington, MSG1, Fenway1, Wrigley 2&3 2017= EV @ Ohana 2018= London 1, Boarderline, Seattle 1&2, Missoula MT, Wrigley 4&5
id say wait it out and hawk the boards too before going the viagogo route.. peoples travel plans change a lot last minute and there will be people sellign extras
I got it from a local ticket broker, still worried. When I got one from Stubhub, it came almost instantly though they still had it mailed, which should I be concerned about that? I heard too many horror stories regarding viagogo and seatwave to trust them.

Some talk of Dampkring Coffeeshop meet up on the 15th,, 6pm.. but that's unofficial ..
The Canal Cruise has only 6 people interested, so I don't know about that.. but Boom Chicago still does the cruise on a daily basis anyways..
Official Wishlist Foundation pre-party info can be found on their Facebook page.
I'm pretty new to this community, but I'm definitely interested in any meet ups before the shows... looking forward to meeting some of you and catching some amazing shows. Please keep me posted if anyone comes up with any definitive plans. -Evan

Sorry to sound like a total rookie but I'll be in amsterdam starting the Monday prior to the PJ shows. Would this work I get to Utrecht and Tilburg? I'm hitting up the two Soundgarden shows and wondering how to get to each city and back

Something I've been wondering about and maybe stressing unnecessarily...
I've freed up two credit cards for use in Amsterdam/Paris/Brussels but being American, these cards are the US-standard magnetic strip kind. Another credit card has chip technology but I'm almost maxed out on it and want to avoid using it if possible.
How many times in 11 days that I'll be there will I actually need a card with chip technology? What types of place require it? Which don't at all?
I'll have some spending cash on hand, but still am a little worried

I am an American living in Ireland, where most everyone has a card with chip technology. Most places will still let me swipe and sign the receipt. But an easier way could be to bring your ATM card and with draw cash as needed.

No, these tickets (which are for public transport in Amsterdam city) do not work to get to Utrecht & Tilburg. For those you'll have to buy train tickets at the train station. Both venues (TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht and 013 in Tilburg) are quite close to the train station, say a 10 minute walk or so.

Like Buck said, it's just easier to use ATM's/ Cash Machines... I know from experience some of the train ticket machines will not accept non chip cards, almost got stuck at night once, so don't do that...hahah
Other than that, I've only ran across a couple of instances when the non-chip card was an issue, but if I remember correctly those were smaller places. Department stores, Hotels, Restaurants, etc.. never remember any issue.
Just remember to notify the bank/s for any cards you plan to use while out of the country... or the first time you use card the bank will slap a fraud hold.. You have to call and give them the dates of travel.

Day cards are for Amsterdam City travel..
You'll just need to go to Centraal Station and grab a Intercity train for those shows. No need to buy tickets in advance for those trains.
The main rail network in the Netherlands is made up of the following regional and Intercity trains: Intercity trains link larger cities like Amsterdam, Utrecht and Maastricht. Sprinter trains connect regional destinations with larger Dutch cities. These trains are slower than Intercity trains. interrail.eu/trains-europe/trains-country/trains-netherlands

Step 1: Convince boss that a 10 000km, 3 night detour on a business trip is completely reasonable. Done.
Step 2: Get tickets for both nights in Amsterdam. Who can help me out? I'm willing to sell certain body parts
Step 3: Worry about the rest later..
it's a nice young hotel at good room rates in a cool area.
