Surely this album will leak soon. It's already done better than his last album in not leaking super early.

I'm with you Dewey. I honestly think I could say that Isbell might just be the best songwriter on the planet right now.

Yeah, I ordered the vinyl early as well.

As to where to look, I usually google whatever album it is with ".rar" or "leak" at the end. There are numerous sites out there as well. Careful though, it can get addicting as hell!

A good time-saving site is hasitleaked.com. They absolutely never post direct links, but they will indicate whether something has leaked or not. Just monitor that and then scour the interwebs as necessary :)

i crawled inside the "southeastern" cd again this past weekend and was still completely blown away all over again. lyrics so powerful.

    http://www.thebluegrasssituation.com/read/why-cover-me-truest-love-song-jason-isbell-will-ever-write
Jason Isbell told this to NPR Music in 2013, shortly before the release of Southeastern, the record that marked the beginning of a new era for the Alabaman troubadour and his tenure as this decade’s best American songwriter. The song he was talking about, “Cover Me Up,” was a bold choice for Southeastern’s lead-off track: Solemn, stripped-down, and slow, it floors listeners with its stark vulnerability and the strength of its romance as Isbell unfolds his love for Amanda Shires, the fiddle player he married just days after he finished recording the album earlier that year. Southeastern is Isbell’s “sober” record, the one he wrote following a stay in rehab after years of hard-partying took their toll on the musician’s personal life (and professional one, too). As such, it stuns with its clarity and ability to cut to the core of his sentiment in a chorus or less, and “Cover Me Up” is the beacon of this.

I think he might have matched it with If We Were Vampires. Maybe. But that's a tough call.

On the path between penetrating poetry and raw rock and roll, Jason Isbell has hit his stride

Yeah. If it's out there, I'm not seeing it on any of the sites that are usually on top of leaks.

I'm still not certain it's out there. If it is, it's very limited. Im not one for calling other posters liars or anything, but there is zero indication anywhere of a widespread leak. Advance copies and press copies are already out, so it's definitely possible.

It's out there according to hasitleaked, which I've been refreshing for the last month waiting for a status change.

Same! Now I'm frantically trying to get Google's help, to no avail.
