What's everyone's favorite track(s) off the new album?

Tough to say. There's a lot of real gems. After four plays thru:

I'm really enjoying the new album. I'm the original poster who had just "discovered" isbell recently. Live in Alabama is solid too. I still can't get much into dbt, but I like his contributions. Goddamn lonely love is one of the best songs I've heard in years

OP: Favo to ask.....Will you remove 'Southeastern' from the thread title? That way we may get more folks on here that wanna discuss Isbell in general.

Flagship is probably my favorite track off the new album - but that changes almost daily. There's not a bad song on the new album.

How's the record sound? Southeastern doesn't sound bad, but it's just sorta average. Good sounding vinyl, for what Isbell does, can really elevate the album for me.

Guy's excellent. New album is excellent too. Saw him in a little club in Aberdeen (Scotland) last year and his voice was superb (couldn't say excellent three times!).

Apparently No 1 album in USA on various classifications including Rock. Much deserved.
Hope he makes lots $$$ but stays small enough for me to continue to get tickets to his shows.
