alright, a hometown show for me & it was great, of course. sucked they came on late & then finished pretty well on time but fuck it, it was great! greatest hits show mostly but brain of j & footsteps were fab! great they played the Black dedication too.

The blue women's singlets only go up to a size 12 & it's TINY. The black one with the sticker image on it is Auckland specific obviously with just the Ak sticker image on it. There weer the stickers & koozies(? I think that's what you clal them. Beer can holder things) & a cap. The black t-shirt with the lightning bolt image on the front says "Australia tour" above "Pearl..." on the back so yeah, I didn't buy that one. B-) Anyway, pretty cool merch I thought.

I only just got home after driving all day. So exhausted. Gonna get my photos off the camera and upload the videos (Sirens and Habit.. though I fucked up Sirens because I thought it was over, then they did the singalong.. plus the crowd was really rough and it was hard to hold still).

STILL.

Incredible show. Mike McCready is my hero. He signed a setlist with a little note and had one of the crew bring it and a bunch of picks over to me. So cool

big day out itself was horrible and badly organised in my unsurprised opinion. they didn't warn people that you couldn't take bags into the main area and they didn't offer an alternative. so thousands of people in the hot hot sun without the things they'd brought along to keep themselves happy and safe. and you couldn't get to the PJ side of the surrounding area without being over 18 with an age verification tag. which they didn't ID you for anyway.
