I'm done. This is not usable. I'll check back in a few months to see if this got fixed or made to be usable. Bye for now.

they had a thing similar to FB, 'Like' 'Dislike' 'Agree' 'Disagree' and yes, 'Flag'

so it would show how 'reputable' of a poster you are...guess people were playing around with it too much and they took it away.

Another really good feature that is now missing: our locations are no longer noted. Not anywhere in our profile, much less next to our posts. I found this info very useful (for a number of reasons). Can we please get that feature back 10C?? I'd much MUCH rather know the location of the member than how many posts they have!

This was a nice feature. It's the only way I found out that one of our very own forum members (Nothingman203) was deployed over in Afghanistan so I messaged him and we start talking, being friends, etc. I saw it out of the corner of my eye and had to know if he was there as a resident or in the Armed Forces etc. Without location, I may not ever be fortunate enough to know him and call him my friend

yes, that feature made it easier for people to search others out. Like when touring, we knew who to PM and ask questions and say, "hey, I wanna meet up with you"

I also enjoyed the funny locations people put in...like Chadwick's "up my ass" or Juggler's "directly behind you"

Yeah, it's great for all kinds of reasons. That kind of thing, and for members being able to identify other members who live near them, to know who to ask about various places when we're traveling there for shows, whether or not we want to buy/sell/trade with someone (as some don't want to ship overseas), etc etc etc. It's important information for us for sure!

Location has also been divisive, especially on the AMT. I'm not keen on having info such as the number of visits or the last activity date 'out there' for all.

No one has to name their actual location though. Many members just put something random in that field. I haven't found it to be divisive at all except in very rare cases. What, will you now just assume that everyone on the AMT is American? It actually kind of matters where someone is from when you're talking politics.
Anyway, I emailed 10C requesting that they bring this feature back.

I agree about the location feature too. These are the changes I'd like to see:

    1. No bright white! Change to gray or at least vary the shading so it's not all white everywhere
    2. Bring back locations
    3. Bring back birthdays
    4. Find my lost pm's and return them plz

Honestly I really am adjusting but I had to turn down the brightness on my phone screen. My eyes were watering and burning after only a few minutes.

There you go... without the location, there could be lost love!! [-X
They took away birth dates and locations... they have made the forum very impersonal compared to before. :(

I agree. It feels less personal. Which is weird cause now we have these bigger personal pages... I have been on here less and less in the last couple of days. It's just not as much fun to look for new posts, I somehow don't really find my way around. This is basically the only thread everybody is posting in, it seems. And yes, it's funny that for once everybody seems to agree a lot lol

Yeah, it really is hard to look through each board for posts. The words are all just mashed together or something, or each thread title isn't separated well, or maybe it's just the bad, bold black font that's disrupting me, hard to say, but it's just not fun anymore. It feels more like a chore... I am not seeking out new posts at all anymore really. Not unless I know what I'm looking for. It sucks.

One of the things I love about this community is it's geographic diversity. There are people from all over this planet who post here and have at least this one thing in common. Now we can't see that diversity.

I've noticed in threads that the font is larger in the original post vs the responses.

It'd be great if there were consistency in the size (with larger being preferable of course).

    (that's what she said)

What do you mean, Sea and Kat have their location showing by their names? (not too concerned that it's hard to read at the moment, as long as it's there). If so, then at least we know the feature can be added....
