I saw them in Ithaca in 91, saratoga on lolla in 92, and rochester in april of 94.
Yes! at the Haunt in Ithaca (Nov 91) for a meager $5 bucks! whats more - sitting in a car at the seven eleven waiting for my buddy and who comes out with steamed dogs and sodas but the entire band themselves...! If I only knew then what I know now...
11/30/93 – Aladdin Theater: Las Vegas, NV [90m]
attendance: 7,000
support act: Mudhoney set: Even Flow, Once, Deep, Jeremy, Dissident, Daughter/(Instant Karma)/(Across the Universe), Go, Animal, State of Love and Trust, Tremor Christ, Black, Blood, Alive
enc 1: Rearviewmirror, Whipping, Leash, Porch/(Tearing)
enc 2: (Green River reunion): Swallow My Pride, Ain’t Nothing to Do, My Way
notes: The show was originally scheduled for the Sands Hotel. ‘Tremor Christ’ premieres. An apparent Beatles tribute is the ‘Daughter’ outro, with a series of tunes ended with Ed whispering “Get Back” at the very end. In a near Green River reunion, Mudhoney’s Mark McLaughlin and Steve Turner join PJ (with Urge Overkill’s drummer, Chuck Treece) for ‘Swallow My Pride’ and ‘Ain’t Nothing to Do.’ ‘Swallow My Pride’ and ‘My Way’ (written by Paul Anka, featuring Terry Presley, an Elvis impersonator assisting on vocals) are recorded to be released as one of the ‘95 fan club singles.
Wasn't super impressed at the time but I now listen to the boot and think "damn, that was a good show!" (I left encore 2 off the disc ). My date that night is now my wife and has been for 13 years. She only went to be with me . When she finally went to her 2nd show in 2006, she understood. No way is she missing Seattle!!

Wow. I was there in MA in 92' as well. we drove up in a stupid 80's Cadillac that you had to use a screw driver to open the trunk. we had a bunch of screw drivers in the car as the beer was in the truck. i remember the vibe at the parking areas in the grass - in the dirt. I had gotten the TEN cd that winter. i was blown away instantly. the vibe at the show as you mentioned was electric. I remember being way up front and the whole mosh thing was happening - I am big so i was not too bothered by it but never really cared too much for it, was more into the music - and Eddie climbed all the way up the scaffold - which he's done 7000 times since - but i remember thinking this was insanely cool! i think he jumped off and landed a few feet from where i was standing. everyone ushered him back up on stage etc. i agree that show is burned into my memory for ever. a few other things are as well but that's more related to the casual use of some mind influencing agents. ps just realized this string ended in August.... you can see how much i post  well it was fun to post and remember it anyway
haha my parents went to the Gorge to see PJ open for neil young when i was a baby! My mom also scored free tickets for a secret PJ show via 10club. They should do that again.

It said "Life is nothing but a dream."
I've spent so many years in question
To find I'd known this all along.
