If today's The Day, I hope announcement come early. Company xmas party tonight and I don't want to spend most of the evening with my phone refreshing news page

Today looks more likely now that an official newspaper has reported that a show is to be announced today.

If it's going to be announced at a press conference that would indicate that it's likely to be earlier rather than later in the day too.

Meh. Unless they announce more dates, I'm out.

Leeds is the only one that tempts me, but a Tuesday night? Really? Will take me a day to travel down then another back up again, so unfortunately I'm out!

Sure, I know, and in the past I have always travelled... Normally either to London or Manchester. I'm more annoyed that even with a new venue, they still don't play here.

And it's not the time it takes to travel, believe me... I'd travel any amount of miles, for any amount of hours to see a concert. Unfortunately, it's the cost involved. 1 day travel down + 2 nights accommodation + concert tickets + (merch!! :P) + 1 day travel up... It all adds up!

I know I shouldn't gripe, but it's Christmas after all, and if you can't be miserable at this time of year, then when can you be miserable?!

The new Glasgow arena sure looked tempting.

I guess Leeds will get a 2nd show, there's room in the schedule.

If it makes you feel better I'm kind of disappointed with the dates too. :silent:
I know I shouldn't say anything cuz I have seen a bunch of shows already, but in truth I'm taking advantage of what's most likely going to be last opportunity I'll have for a few years to travel this year, I've never been to Europe & I was hoping they'd play cities I really want to visit in the UK. Like London, Manchester, Cardiff, Glasgow, Dublin and Belfast. I'm not really sure what to do here, especially since the tickets are so freaking expensive.

I feel like a complete asshole even thinking is but it's true.

I feel like an asshole too, as others will be delighted with these dates. It's luck of the draw, and I'll get my turn. I got amazingly lucky with dates in 2012.

I feel for you though - if you were visiting Europe, Leeds and Milton Keynes are hardly up there on the map!! I still feel they could play one of the 2 big London festivals - Hard Rock Calling or British Summer Time - so please still hold out hope for that! :-)

The town Milton Keynes itself is really... nowhere... No offense to anyone who lives there (they'd maybe agree!)

However, Pearl Jam will be playing the Milton Keynes Bowl, which has some significance in rock history! Famous acts who have played there include Foo Fighters, Queen ("Live at the Bowl"), and Green Day ("Bullet in a Bible")... It's fairly massive, outdoors (bring your waterproofs), and can hold up to 65,000!

    :eh:

If they do add dates it's not going to be until after the 10c drawing though and these tickets are too expensive to be leaving at the will call window.

I'm thinking Amsterdam, Milan, Berlin, maybe Stockholm and then the UK dates. No offense to the cities in between. Luckily the airfare between cities is cheaper than the damn 10c tickets.
Seriously wtf is up with that?
Then I guess I'll just have to go see Glasgow and Dublin WITHOUT PJ :lol:8-)
